I seriously hope this one is a step up improvement from Araki's recent previous works. My ideals about the show itself is that Yana Toboso could design the characters, since she was once involved at drawing two tribute illustrations for Attack on Titan in the past. It is also THE anime I have biggest expectations for this year, hope the premise sounds something that appeals to my own sci-fi tastes.

But Sunrise also does Gintama, which is also heavy on comedy, non-mecha, and has decently choreographed fight scenes.
If they get the same studio to handle this, it's actually pretty fitting.

Eh, Toei is also capable at doing short length anime series like Air Gear and Kyouso Giga so I guess they could do whatever job at handling this.

Studio 5 is busy now. But Studio 8 or Studio 3 can handle.

I'm surprisingly alright with the rumbling about Sunrise; most of their studios would be decent stylistic fit, even though my top choice would still be IG (no way that's happening though).

How about Studio Gallop? Mainly because they already worked with Murata.

Do they even still exist? More curiosity than anything, as it seems almost a lock that this will be Sunrise.

Yu-Gi-Oh is still ongoing, so the answer is "yes"...

BTW, instead of animation - who do you think would be the best voice actor choice for Saitama and others?

The irrational hope I have that Rurouni Kenshin with get a "Brotherhood" reboot is compounded by the absurd possibility it could revert to Gallop and get the series out DEEN's hands before they further blaspheme it. One can dream, I suppose.

I think Jun FUkuyama or Kamiya Hiroshi would fit Saitama

I actually was thinking about Akira Ishida or Masaya Onosaka. Or, maybe, Mitsuaki Madono.

No offence, but I can't see an ounce of Saitama in Fukuyama and Kamiya. Personally, I'd like to see Tomokazu Seki tackle the role.

Sadly, the best chance for this already came and gone with the conclusion of the movie trilogy.

I can see Jun Fukuyama as the mad scientist of House of Evolution.

MAPPA, Wit, Madhouse, Production IG.

I feel like Sunrise animation tends to look a bit too 'clean' to capture the intensity of the original art.

You should hope the right director and writer get attached to this than worrying about which Sunrise studio or whoever is animating this. Also don't really see this getting a massive budget because most Young Jump series don't.

It's certainly not gonna be Ryo-timo, so I don't really care anymore.

Yeah MAAPA would be jackpot.

Madhouse have gotten too visually 'clean' in recent years. I'd describe Production I.G as matte. Baby studios MAPPA and WIT are still playing in the dirt (both seem quite busy this year).

Sunrise should be fine, so long as they lay off on the CG.

I do wish the director would use those animation-frame sequences in the web-novel as storyboard for key frames. They would be such a waste if they didn't!

Imagine Genos vs Saitama scene with added frames. It would be orgasmic.
