Already predicted to be steampunk from the start, what surprised me is that it'll have its own Feudal Japan equivalent in this.
Mikimoto designing the characters is kind of surprising, but then he already worked on Unicorn which also had Sawano on board. That said, I'm very hyped for this, together with Divine Gate as the only two shows I hold great hope for the first semester of 2016. The PV leaves me in joy at how amazingly animated it is but then again it doesn't mean it will not end up being visually flawed considering the studio in charge. And as moodie says, don't make premature comparisons with other similar series and throw too much senseless tantrum towards Okouchi's writing, I just prefer to wait until the first few episodes will come out, that's where the anime will truly shine its initial quality.

Holy crap, that PV and key visual look amazing. Although it's kiiiiinda like SnK, with all those machinery and what looked like magic thrown around, this might just make itself stand out from SnK. Also, dat CG.

Part of the thing that makes Titans from AoT is their size. If you have normal human-size monsters it's a different feel and I think they really should start showing that so as to be distinct and avoid the comparisons. Quote:
Yoshikazu Yasuhiko did the character designs for Gundam Unicorn. He's the same guy who did the character designs for the original Gundam series. Mikimoto did the character designs for Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket and is the mangaka of the Ecole Du Ciel series. Their art styles are nowhere alike, even though they both tend to use the same medium (Watercolors) a lot. 'Yaz's art style tends to be more crisp while Mikimoto has a more airy feel. Not going to post examples here, you can do a google image search and you can see the difference.

Well, combining the team of Attack on Titan and the writer of Code Geass and Valvrave with a PV that good. AND with Sawano doing the music?
Well, you definitely have all my attention. Plus the summary sounds pretty interesting. I'm guessing that they are going to have to find the original monster that started creating the Kabane and kill it. I wonder how long this series is supposed to go?
