I think my favorite parts of the ep was the mascot doing the falcon punch and it getting caught on camera and when the main girl did a emotionless way too late kya

Let's start from this: Latifa shouldn't be blind? Or it's just I interpreted wrongly "my eyes cannot see" from manga adaptation? They where ok with that MC kissing with loli scene, but kissing with blind loli is just too much for them, huh?

As I said before, they're trying to cover moe crap with fanservice. "You don't like moesh*t and you're FMP fan? Come here! We have Bonta-kun and naked asses (and maybe will show b00bs later, who knows!)".

I enjoyed only scene before OP...
1ep - 4/10
Two more eps of "I give them a chance. 3ep will not kill me. Maybe Gatoh will save KAni".

This is no Glasslip, but I'm feeling a similar alienation from the general run of negative comments. I read a bit of the manga and I certainly enjoy the anime more, so far.

Do some people watch KyoAni shows just so they can rail against moe? I'm no K-On fan, but moe is good, not bad. However, it can be overdone or done in a boring way, like anything else. Not here. No complaints about the long-shot kiss, either. Worked for me.

I could even forgive the way Kakuma Ai did her best Saitou Chiwa imitation in making Sento sound like Senjougahara. Nicely done, anyway. An up-and-coming seiyuu.

The manga made me wonder if I'd enjoy this show, but it's working for me so far, and if we get into Spice & Wolf territory with the economics, it could gain another dimension. I'll be back next week, in any case.

People just have opinions of their own I guess. Personally I don't really care as I quite enjoyed the premise of the anime.
As long as you enjoy it just watch it since it's not like unproductive comments fueling with rage can do anything to the anime itself.

I got (or at least suspected) the Latifa reference, but not the others. I'm pretty surprised as well. I wouldn't have imagined Gatoh being a fan of most of those singers.

As for the rest of the show, I think the end of the first episode is a bit early to be making much of a judgement about the series as a whole. I'm not blown away but I'm not ready to write it off either. I actually kind of enjoyed the first episode though I'm hoping things pick up a bit.

Even if some people doesn't, I did enjoyed humor. It's clearly isn't pure comedy, where you are supposed rolling on the floor laughing. Just to make story and character exposition user friendly and it indeed did good job in it as far as I am concerned.

I am interested in pretty much all characters, settings and of course currious about future development.

There were some gags that were a little too repetative but otherwise I found the humour chuckleworthy. Not amazing but it's definitely worth a chance to get better.

It's funny because the opening scene instantly made me wonder if I should even bother, but as the episode went on it slowly managed to redeem itself and the scene where the MC meets the manager is when it well and truly hooked my interest and sealed the deal. I hope the introduction of magic really spices things up. I mean this is clearly not going to be Hyouka level or anything but as long as it's reasonably amusing, I'm more than happy to stick with it for now.

Yup. I'm far from being knowledgeable of VAs but this one seemed obvious to me. Why not just hire Saitou Chiwa instead?

Thought the first episode was lifeless just like the theme park.

Actually, on the humor front, this is one of the few anime that's actually made me laugh out loud while watching it. Got a good laugh of the Rascal Square and Free Fall bits.

As for the gags, my favorite was the poor 4 elemental girls.
And now knowing that their elemental powers are real, it makes them all the more sadder having to put on a show with no audience lol.

Enjoyed the humor. It wasn't amazing but it was still got a few chuckles from me and did lighten things up.

So far the story and characters seem interesting enough so I want to see how they develop them.

This episode was pretty funny so ill keep watching it. Im one of those that read the manga first and i was kinda sad how they took out some of the more interesting conversations and his inner monologues. The inner monologues are part of what made me like the story in the first place.

The tour around the park was also pretty fun, when the 4 elementals were dancing i saw winter with tears in the corner of her eyes. Poor her

I actually enjoyed the episode. I read a couple of chapters of the manga before and the story is great, so, I'll keep watching it.

Well, that was disappointing. If it weren't for the pedigree behind this I would probably be seriously considering dropping the show here and now. I mean: the visuals are excellent and the VA for the musket girl managed to stand out even with such a relatively flat role to play which is good but there wasn't much in the show to catch my interest overall. The introductions were at once too fast to really figure out who the main character was and too slow by wasting so much time in hammering down the point that the theme park was boring. On the plus side I could barely stop myself from laughing out loud at the Bunta-kun bit. The copyright infringement joke in particular was brilliant

Anyway I'm going to try and give this a couple more episodes. It also took a few episodes for me to get sold on Hyouka and I only have myself to blame for the high expectations I was carrying into this.

PS: Btw who's holding script duties for this one? Did anyone catch that from the credits?

Oh this is from the full metal panic author... explains why I saw that mascot from the joke spinoffs there.

I would totally like to see the FMP protagonist try the insane mode of this shooter game though.

As I said earlier, the wall of photos at the sweets shop would have been the perfect place for a FMP cameo.

I felt a little nostalgic watching this. It has almost the same FMP serious-but-comedy feel. I read the few available manga chapters of this and it wasn't the story that really caught my eye but the MC. I wish they'd kept more of his inner monologue

Other than that I felt this was a good introduction episode. I liked that they changed the 100k visitors to 250k, and three months instead of two weeks.
