edit; All you anime only guys are in for a treat. These next two volumes they're animating are probably the 2nd best in the entire series.

Well, this is the anime only, no spoiler thread. It's to be expected that more people here haven't read the novels compared to the light novel section.

Personally, I bounce back and forth between the sections since I haven't read the last 5 volumes and that's what a lot of the discussion is about over there.

I check this non novel threads to see people speculate, its refreshing and funny the ideas the make for whats coming, the same as how we do in the current novel thread

ive read i think up to V16, its just gets fucking better as you go

ATM not at all plus i cant see them doing much more then the 2 volume system they've done so far.

That two volumes per season has worked well until now, but with the next set of books it may be hard to remain like that, if a season 4 and 5 are announced, then it may be a 2 cour, but season 3 might be just 1 cour(to not say that im almost 100% sure)

5 & 6 can be done in a 1-cour without any problems as it has a faster pace than s2. DxD's definitely popular enough for a season 4, 5 etc. and I don't think they can do those without a 2-cour.

Without getting much into it, it will be. Season 2 probably covered the weakest books out of the first dozen volumes (not counting side story volumes).

ChouCho? Awesome! Have always really liked her songs, and I can't wait to hear what her DxD opening will be like .

I wonder, though, if we'll get two openings this season like New/season 2 did? And if that second opening might have Larval Stage Planning back?

I'm also curious if we'll have the female cast back for the ending vocals...though, while I am looking forward to hearing the ending, I'm more interested in seeing the animation for it and how TNK might try and top themselves .
