Isn't that one of the themes of this series? Heroes are people who are just in the right place at the right time.

The best time to start rambling is when you are recovering from a cold with a microphone from the 1 dollar store.

I like how they managed to fit in most of the important characters into the movie with 90 minutes even if people like Accelerator get a few minutes of glory. You can always count on Touma's "Falcon Punch" to save the day. I'm still waiting for another season of Index.

What happened to Arisa/Shataura?

Those 3d robot spiders are so aliased.. :s

Guess I'm setting the bar too high... Railgun is plagued with the same issue, too. Not sure if it's a problem with Retas Studio, or if J.C Staff is being very lazy when it comes to 3d modelling.

Apparently they became one in the end and I believe Arisa was part of Shutaura to begin with (at least that's kinda what the bracelet indicated). She or they are probably living a "normal" life in AC again.

I didn't even notice this until you mentioned it. And even if I did during the time I watched it it's no big deal to be honest?

How the hell was Kanzaki able to survive in space?

And then fall back down to earth and not burn up in the atmosphere or get killed from the fall to the ground?

Saints deliberately break rules of physics in their way. >.>

Also...:
> Funny how it kinda shows in the Toaru-verse that ANY FREAKING ONE can summon a DIVINE being on the SAME PAR as Touma just by wishing for it. Also, Toaru "magic rules" not normally being applied... in spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace.

New testament readers should know that Kanzaki used magic to operate at extreme altitude before.

As for the landing... Magicians can fly remember? Falling safely probably is a logical step.

Kamachi stated she landed in the sea safely, iirc.

For NT readers, you just need to read NT2 to understand this part, lol.

Back in the Angel Fall arc, Touma's father Touya accidentally summoned an angel and caused the Angel Fall just by virtue of specifically placed figures in his house, so yeah.

To be fair, I don't think they figured out what that blue aura thing is. My perception is that everyone who didn't figure it out already think of that blue aura as some additional VFX that goes with the scene as Kanzaki powers herself up.

(Feeling in a slightly trollish mood) Doesn't flying make you really susceptible to being taken out by some other kind of magic because no one does it? So shouldn't there probably have been some simple against Kanzaki doing what she did instead of relying on firing missles? It should be obvious that the magic side would get involved...

Though after I watch the movie and everything else the final impression left on me that makes me laugh so hard each time is this...

Aleister 1. knows everything 2. can do anything.

Therefore, everything that happens, happens because 1. he does not care or 2. he likes to see poor Touma suffer or 3. He's just lazy

After seeing this movie it finally just sunk in... this series is way crazier than DBZ ever became and it might even beat Gurren Lagann eventually (not in terms of power, but consistent ridiculousness)...

I love this series so much *sigh*

Yes. Sending someone crashing to the ground is much easier than flying.

Though I'm not sure if "falling at survivable speed" would count as flying.
