The guy was without a doubt a man. He was a King and he left descendant, the MC also said that the guy was a massive playboy that played around with a lot of girls.

Unless there is time travel or something like that to confirm his gender it could very well be a woman and one of her men was in charge of making heirs or a futanari. That's how confusing is that image.

The novel seems to be good, but the 1 chapter a week is making me suffer. I think I got used with some crazy translator that can finish 300 pages in less than a week

Isn't that First Emperor illustration looks like it's overlapping with a girl's body?

Like the MC met someone similar or entered in a trance-like state and "met" again with the Emperor while he was talking with a girl?

Or are you telling me that the First Emperor forgot the leg's day training

This illustrator is really good (Magicraft Master, Kuro no Hiera-Glaphicos) and that legs with knee-socks are quite well draw

^Like someone said earlier, its possible the artist screwed up on that pic. Its kinda funny how, rather than spoilers, most of the thread is about whether the 1st emporer is a girl or boy, and if a boy, what the hell is up with those legs...

Well wayyyy many decades ago the time of kings and royals all sit like that crossing their leg, so its consider normal at that time. Till today we know that the crossing pose is bad for our "health", so thats why most males don't sit like that anymore nowadays.
