Right now, the relationship between Adventurers and the People of the Land is somewhat symbiotic. I think the world history a while back mentioned that the regular people were in trouble against endless respawns until the Adventurers arrived. Now they could possibly exist separately, but its much more advantageous to work together. Though now Lenessia is stuck with managing affairs.

Even if the Royal Guard killed Adventurers, then the Adventurers could abandon Akiba (with maybe the high level raiders holding them off while the low levels escape), and an evacuation was brought up in this episode, but that would leave Akiba in bad shape economically. Too bad the rest of the Royal Guard can't (or won't) do anything, but guess the teleporting is a problem.

i think that is due to his RG armor. The girls still thought the guy was just another adventure when he is not. With the RG armor the closer to being a Raid Boss which is probably why the few hits he took didn't affect his HP bar.

lets see what that bar looks like when their Full Raid after him.

FYI you lost the argument before you started because this is a "Read and find out" problem.

Spoiler for To be safe:

Suffice to say, don't underestimate adventurers (players).

Also Royal armor isn't really that powerful. They have infinite power and more or less a raid boss, probably way less. more like a story boss. Both sides can put up a front, but here's a lot more adventurers.

Heck you can starve out the RG since people of the land do need to live, and they can't revive, and it's worthless if they go out the city. Only take a week at most to starve out every people of the land involved.

Well, seeing how the armor is what the in-game town guards are. I think he's just immune to all damage. There's no point in having them there to control the players if the players can just fight them off if there's enough around.

It's not immune to damage fyi. Nothing is apparently since it's a "real world" now. It'll be explained.

What was animal ear lady talking about when Akatsuki appeared?
"She can also..." or something.

Also, I found it amusing how Souji greeted Akatsuki. Like a stranger. Guess as viewers watching from above, it looks like they're all together, but to them, they only know eachother little more than name since they had no interactions with eachother at all.

I think that was the green-haired Elf, Fragrant Olive, and she's saying that Akatsuki can also land hits on the guard without any help, just like Souji.

Being able to fight against someone in guard armor is an amazing feat. Being able to block attacks, to deflect, to dodge... it's not supposed to be possible. The Royal Guard shows up and insta-kills whoever started a fight in the city. They're not supposed to be something you can resist at all.

Well, the question would be whether or not the power of the RG armor scales with the lvl of the user, and if yes, how many lvl 90+ Landers exist?

The majority of the landers we have been shown so far are of really low levels (below 50) compared to a good amount of lvl 90-95 Adventurers. If the RG armor still required its wielder to be of a high level to be effective, then a bunch of lvl 30 Landers with RG equipped wouldn't really do anything to the high level Adventurers.

Landers also do not have the luxury of revival at the cost of their real world memories (since they aren't from the real world to begin with) so there is an element of risk that not many Landers would be willing to take.

Just speculating, but aren't Shiroe and the Silver Swords essentially raiding (pun intended) the Kunio Clan's bank? Even though Kinjou had made a promise of some sort, it is not unexpected that he could do something to thwart their efforts in his self interest. This matter of a member of the Kunio clan stealing the RG armor and going on a killing spree in Akihabara seems too much of a coincidence if you ask me.

Don't worry, she'll eventually becomes stronger when Akatsuki learned an Overskill to avenge over her humiliating defeat.

Well they could have granted the Round Table a loan like they were politely asked to, many times. It's their own fault for failing to recognize or care that the world-situation has changed to something that their "ancient treaty" didn't envision, and thus it should no longer restrict them.

Also they shouldn't have kept the thing inside a dungeon. When Adventurers find treasure in a dungeon it becomes their property: that's the way the world works.

Fine by me. Even if they got the loan, how are they gonna pay 80 trillion plus interests hahaha

I don't believe RG armor insta kill, they drag people off the jail.

I think people are confusing Elder tale lore/mechanics with GM powers. They are not the same.

In any event, RG is fight-able as given by Souji.

Spoiler for questions:

It's not just about the armor. A Royal Guard, as shown in explanation flashback, use a broad sword in his line of duty. One part of the problem might be the katana which gives off a eerie aura as seen by Akatsuki.

Technically speaking dramatics aside, we have enough raw power on adventures side to stop this serial killer.

Consider this.

-The serial killer does not have GM powers that we know of so all combat rules applies.

-This includes the fact he probably can't teleport in combat, or he would be cheating as it is.

-Guardians have 2 classic skills, Anchor howl(provoke) and castle of stone(invincible)

Assuming something like invincible is 10 second duration and something like 10minute cool down.

You would need a minimum of 60 guardians rotating provoke and invincible to hold the serial killer in place.

If they really had a task force going on to such a level, I'm sure they can box a RG indefinitely with the amount of adventures in town.

Wow. Souji mentors Akatsuki eh? That could turn the latter into something even more seriously dangerous than she already is...and speaking of dangerous, Souji was super scary this ep. That split srcond under the blade backhand slash move?

Man...well, between the combat and how the raid is mirroring what was going on in Akiba and the reveals about the killer I thought the ep was quite engaging.

Looks like next ep Akatsuki gets temped in some kind of weird in between state? Wonder if it is a mental or imaginary thing, or something like a soul journey metaphor where she meets up with Shiro and reaches some kind of resolve before returning?

We actually don't.
