Subaru already met villagers beforehand and made his intent to help Emilia known. Emilia also has visited kids before Subaru wear that cloak so with those pieces together it's not hard discern that was him with even the magic.

Noticed Petelguese last reaction when he says 'curse you' similar with Subaru curse to Petelguese in episode 15.

And this is what we call great character development. Just look how Subaru behaves in recent episodes. Now I can say with certain Subaru is awesome.

All what I want is to know if WF is gonna change their minds or something like that about the last episode of Re:Zero. I can't believe they're planning to release a 25 min episode.

This season should be ended after "From Zero" chapter. The pacing that 4 episodes/1 vols is the best for Re:Zero.

I'm pretty sure they don't the time to extend the episode to an hour long at this point if they want to get it out on time.

An hour long episode may not even be necessary if they can get the essential parts down without too much rushing.

Very good episode. I like the relationship between Subaru and Julius a lot. Subaru hates him, but he's able to brush this aside, because of the respect and trust he's got in him. Very well presented.

By the way, is this a seasonal anime or will this show run continuously?

I know this story has had a habit of dropping out characters once they have left the stage but I am a bit worried over there not being any mention of Rem in the last few episodes. She was such a major part for so long it bothers me that her name doesn't even show up in conversation. Even Felis hasn't teased Subaru about her since she left.

Idk, from my perspective she only left focus "a few minutes" ago. A lot of stuff happens in very little time.

Ok. I'll admit I sort of freaked out because I heard the news of ep 25 being 25 minutes and the overall slow pace of episode 24. I still hope it's longer than usual, but the scans for a spoiler pic...I feel perked up. I also hope next episode we don't have speed lines though, and that the budget was saved to make Re Zero's last episode it's best.

We won't have Preview this week about episode 25, the episode tomorrow will be delayed 36 minutes and is still 25 minutes. The information on spoilers comes from Nico Nico where they're going to stream episodes 1-12, after episode 25 they will do the same with episodes 13-25.
