No seriously. Drop that notion, it is stupid. This is a supernatural story about a harvest goddess and a traveling merchant. You might as well start calling all the Star Trek stories about Vulcans, Klingons, and humans (many completely different species) the same thing.

Lets hope so. Wether there will be more than 2 seasons or not depends a lot on how many episodes this season will have. The most being 26 which has been previously stated may be enough to fit a good portion of vol 3 and 4.

wow i hope so!
oh i really do hope they continue with this series, i'm excited to see more! The nature themes, the mixing of romance and economics is sophisticated and the artwork is beautiful and very catching! Also, the relationship between Lawrence and Horo begs for more clarification. I haven't read any of the manga because i'm lazy and would rather watch than read hehe (no offense to all the manga readers out there!) I remember watching this series knowing nothing about it, and becoming addicted very quickly!

you mean novel, not maga readers ^_^
hmm.. it seems there are quite a few people alive on this forum who are concerned for the series, as opposed to what we thought in the novel discussion threads ^_^ |

ふふ、わっちも噂で聞いただけじゃが、この冬にやるという話が上がっておるぞ
Hmmm...not great at Japanese, but whoever this is...for one they are speaking like Horo. saying "wacchi" instead of "watashi" and other things Anyway, this person also heard that the story would go up around this winter. Definitely not official, just some Japanese person giving an opinion. But apparently this opinion may be circulating quite well. Wonder why...any truth? Will S&W be a winter anime? or not...saaaa |

Holy shit, hehehe, I was just doing Vocabulary Flashcards for Enligh 4 AP and you know what word came up.....
Badinage I didn't know what it meant, So I looked it up. 1. light, playful banter or raillery. –verb (used with object) 2. to banter with or tease (someone) playfully. Made me Think of Spice and Wolf and Horo, and got me even more syched for season 2. I goto use that word more now. |

Bah it won't leave me alone in my vocabulary! First bandinage, now chaff, which is even worse. Side from meaning
Chaff 1. to mock, tease, or jest in a good-natured way; banter: She chaffed him for working late. They joked and chaffed with each other. –noun 2. good-natured ridicule or teasing; raillery It's first listing is: 1. the husks of grains and grasses that are separated during threshing. Made me think of episode 2. |

I want to @#$% with--

There was a tiny little celebration when my fiance and I both read this news.
I always said that Spice and Wolf's biggest flaw was being cut too short. Perhaps now it can move into the realm of perfection. (Not that Horo herself wasn't already there!) |
