Like others here, I have used lots of torrent applications over the years. Longest one by far was utorrent, but when that became ad-infested I moved on to try a lot of other clients. Stuff like Deluge/Azureus/Bitcomet and others I forgot, but I do remember I used qbittorrent for a good while until a certain thing about it that pissed me off (can't remember exactly what it is though XD).
Right now, I'm using Tixati. Unlike other clients, it's pretty much a standalone install (most other clients have dependencies), and I remember this fact when I upgraded to an SSD. I think I liked it more than qbittorrent because it didn't mess up my old modem as the biggest reason (I have faint memory when restarting qbittorrent something wonky happens), but now that I upgraded my modem I can't quite point why I still use it. Maybe because I like seeing charts/statistics for my bandwidth usage? Maybe because its startup is relatively quick, and I haven't had a problem with it? Lag is non-existent, and it hasn't crashed on me yet? My memory is hazy on this one, but I vaguely remember I was impressed on how fast my dl speed accelerated to max speed on high seeded torrents (especially on a certain private anime tracker). The biggest difference is that I had to get used to the mostly black UI, but apart from that, I don't really see me changing clients in the near future.
