My thanks Daisuke, I've been quite over-burden as of late.

We don't need more of those when we have so many as is. ... I'm still undecided as to who I want to vote for. As of right now, I'm looking into not well known characters to get them into the tournament and get some recognition - last year, I voted in Sleepy "John" Estes from Mad Bull 34 which got SOME attention, but not too much. It'll take a while for me to dig up manly men who were merely forgotten. At the same time, I'm neutral toward SaiGar's silent permission of females. While it does set us apart from SaiMoe in being less sexist, and while it is true women can be manly in the same way men can be womanly, there is potential for lame entries like "Konata". >_> Also, at first I had no idea how powerful anime like Hayate and Lucky Star are as far as allowing entries from other shows. I mean, from Hayate: 1. The Cabbage 2. Nabeshin 3. Koichiro "Coach" Ohta

A lot better reception this year for some reason... *recalls the fate of a certain SaiGAR thread made last year...*

Yeah, I had him on my initial list as I posted earlier, but he got edged out of my top 10 by better men.

This is some of the strangest stuff I've ever voted in.
1. Shiraishi Minoru - Lucky Star (HE MUST GET IN) 2. Dutch - Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage 3. Ayasaki Hayate - Hayate the Combat Butler 4. Rock - Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (I'm at a loss) 5. Simon - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Modern-day Shinji, deserves just a mention) |

And I'm nominating Balalaika. That woman put chills down my spine during the twincest arc. Last edited by d.sinclair; 2007-11-20 at 22:18. |

Two Shinji's come to mind: Fate Stay Night and Eva. Since you're talking about giant robots, I'll assume you meant Eva. Not that it means anything to me either way.
I must pray for forgiveness now, for I hath forgotten someone very important: Takahata Takamichi, of Negima!?. Even ignoring the manga, Takamichi got a huge boost for the remake. Chilling in the background with Eva, enjoying ramen and tea, saving the day from time to time... Since Albert Chamomile (aka Col. Sanders) is just manga, I guess I have nothing more to say about him... Spoiler for top 14, not quite in order:
The 5 limit is mildly annoying, but whatever.

According to the official definition GAR is the epitome of what it means to be manly and badass. Otherwise we would just be voting for our favorite character. "AWESOME" is just not enough! Quote:

In the end, I have decided to participate, even though I still think the outcome is obvious: 5) Kamina (TTGL) - duh! 4) Kurogane (Tsubasa OVA) - few have attained his level of manliness 3) Zoro (One Piece Movie 8) - same as above 2) Viral (TTGL) - almost as good as #5, but not as many great moments 1) Wei (Darker than Black) - fought a battle that he knew he would lose - that's pretty manly for me |

If someone nominates Lelouch Lamperouge and someone else nominates Lelouch Vie Britannia or Ryugu Rena and Ryuugu Rena, does it count as the same character? quite confusing nominating in english
