Summoner skills hasn't been translated yet but I remember one of their skill sets focuses more on undead summoning.

Summoners can summon over a hundred monsters, so i'm guessing some would be undead type. The subclass that would compliment summoner the most would probably be beast tamer.

5? From what I hear the upper limit is 12 in the 竜吼山脈 side story.

I don't think that's possible. One type of summon per active summon. But multiple summoned having same active summon is possible.

judging by the wording of some of them, i think it's a case by case basis.
Obviously the more powerful contracts are singular, but some of the lower lvl mooks seem like you can summon them in groups.
