Well the confusing nature of the story is definitely going to hamper discussion, I'll give you that. I suppose you could argue that a lower amount of discussion = lower amount of interest/preference but I don't think it's as clear cut as that. At the very least I don't think it applies to other UC shows, which will naturally have less discussion due to airing at a time when the internet wasn't as popularised as it was for SEED.
