The most we can expect is that Kei becomes good friends with her (maybe confess about the scar?), that will in turn give her more screen time
I mean that the author gave me the idea that he is purposely provoking fans. In reddit there is already a discussion about what he said that Kiyopon can leave school and I'm almost sure that in some forum they are already discussing what he said of the series not having a main heroine and now talks about the possibility of Satou at some point gain prominence?
I just had that feeling. Someone has fun reading the discussions about the series.

I feel like sudou one sided as always until the end of this LN and horikita single forever..
First the pic I posted here ends up on 4chan in the OP, now the pics I posted on 4chan end up here. We've come full circle lol. Wish it wasn't so dark already whenever I finish my job since doing photos with unnatural light sucks and they sometimes end up with white spots that obscure translations.
Spoiler for Translation of Kinugasa Tomose Interview:
>Kinugasa: I also plan to give her (Hiyori) a lot of screentime from now on like Ryuuen which is why I gave them their current role. Well, there are also a lot of characters that I plan to fade out as well though
>Tomose: Eh!? Really?
>Kinugasa: Well, well. Lets leave that for later.
>Tomose: I want to hear more (laughs)
About Kamuro:
>Tomose:Kamuro doesn't seem to be popular at all...... (laughs)
>Kinugasa: She's a good kid though.
>Tomose: Not really, she isn't (laughs).
>Kinugasa: This can be said for all characters but they are not really popular just because we want them to be (laughs).
>Editor: By the way in the "Who you want as your girlfriend ranking" she placed 14th.
>Tomose: 14th (laughs).
>Kinugasa: Out of how many?
>Editor: 17. Also Kushida place was even bellow her.
>Everyone: (laughing hard)
>Tomose:Eh!? She fell that much? Even though in the beginning she would always be 1st or 2nd.
>Kinugasa: She is already out of the volume covers and illustrations after all.
>Tomose: She fell head first, huh (laughs). Must be because of her personality. Everyone really cares about the interior of the characters.
>Editor: So they really don't want Kushida.
>Kinugasa: I understand how they feel (laughs).
>Editor: Did you request anything about Kamuro's design?
>Kinugasa: I remember about this one. Did I also write it in the books? I think I said something about her personality being really similar to Horikita.
>Tomose: I don't remember anything about that...... Did you really said that? (laughs)
>Kinugasa: I don't remember my request but I do remember writting this so it's probably correct.
>Tomose: It's true that she looks like her in the illustrations.
>Kinugasa: I don't why I made her similar...... Though I do remember saying that (laughs).
>Tomose: She hasn't had much screen time lately.
> Kinugasa: It's not that I don't want to give her any. I don't hate her but it's quite difficult to have a bunch of characters in a single volume. If too much appear at once it would go out of control.
> Editor: Will she have screen time from now on?
>Kinugasa: of course.
About first colored illustration of Satou
>Tomose: Satou-chan is my top recommendation!
>Editor: Kinugasa-san told me before about her that "A really cute character will make her appearance" (laughs). She first got a colored illustration in volume 7.5 where she was with Matsushita and Shinohara.
>Tomose: Satou doesn't really look like a heroine but she is quite unique which is why I like drawing her. She looks like she has a Sanpakugan, but I think it's more fun to draw a well defined character. (not sure about the translation of キャラ付け)
>Editor: She does seem like one of the popular girls at school. By the way, what do you think is unique about her?
>Tomose: When I get requested to draw a cute girl their eyes end up always being the same. I only have about 3 pattern of eyes that I'm confident in (laughs). I actually want to break out of the character when I'm drawing for Light Novels and Manga. A lot of Manga draw really distinct characters. I think that being able to use different styles is really fun.
>Kinugasa: You could try doing that more! (laughs)
>Editor: I think that fits this series more.
>Tomose: Youjitsu has a lot of characters so I think that I need to draw more and change them more and make them more unique (laughs).
>Kinugasa: That's true. There are really a lot of characters. And there will be more. After all, the 1st year has just ended!
>Tomose: That's why I can't have the characters design overlap with the old ones. I'll have to keep coming up with more weird designs! (laughs)
>Kinugasa: There has to be a character that opens their eyes there.
>Tomose: That's a gamble, whether the design will fit or no (laughs).
>Editor: But in Manga there are characters that become cuter later.
>Tomose: Yes! Even if it doesn't turn out well we can just change as we go.
>Kinugasa: Isn't that just plastic surgery (laughs).
>Tomose: They should change bit by bit and become more cool.
>Kinugasa: As a matter of fact, they are changing.
>Tomose: True. There are some characters that I have changed.
>Editor: There aren't many character that are done from the get go. You always think that you could have changed something. Like putting a hair clip or something. Without Kinugasa noticing (laughs).
>Kinugasa: Sure! Keep them coming.
>Tomose: Also, what about Satou's screen time from now on......? (laughs)
>Kinugasa: Well, she'll have screen time, though compared to the previous two whether it will be like you're all imagining...... I don't know (laughs). Youjitsu doesn't really have a clear heroine, and it's possible someone will disappear depending on new developments. You could also think it like this, there is also a chance Satou will have a lot more screen time
Follow up...
Spoiler for Translation of Kinugasa Tomose Interview:
>Tomose: Probably because she had a great scene.
> Kinugasa: She may unexpectedly awaken all of a sudden. Taking Karuizawa as an example, there is the possibility of that happening (laughs).
About Asahina and Nagumo
>Tomose: Nazuna, well......
>Kinugasa: Nothing much of an impression, right?
>Everyone: (laughs)
>Tomose: May she will play an active role in the future (laughs). She hasn't really done much recently (laughs).
>Kinugasa: Absolutely nothing.
>Tomose: The impression I had as I was drawing was of a cute Oneesan (laughs). What was your request again?
>Kinugasa: Don't you remember?
>Tomose: That will be difficult to remember (laughs).
>Kinugasa: I may have said to make her more like a gal
>Tomose: I do remember that.
>Kinugasa:....... I only remember that.
>Editor: The thing that stands out of the other characters about her is that she wears a sunflower hair accessory.
>Tomose: I thought I had to give her something to differentiate from Karuizawa who is also a gal (laughs). It was just a flower though (laughs).
>Editor: Did you have any requests for Nagumo?
>Tomose: Yeah, Kinugasa-sensei is very fussy about his male characters so I remember having to fix Nagumo a bunch of times.
>Kinugasa: I don't remember what I said about him but I do say a lot about the design of guys (laughs).
>Tomose: I think at the start his character had a lot of vigor, but every time I changed something his face became more shady (laughs).
>Editor: He does look like a crazy guy.
>Tomose: He became more and more vicious.
>Editor: He is making a really weird face in the front of volume 8 and the cover of volume 10,
>Tomose: Yeah. he had the position of a strong character from the beginning.
>Kinugasa: What he has been doing is still all just petty though.
>Tomose: But Nagumo is sure to devastate(?) things! (laughs)
>Kinugasa: From now on! (laughs)
>Tomose: I do want to make Nagumo more cool as I'm drawing though. His face is pretty hard to draw.
>Editor: I think that if the male rival from in the 1st year was Ryuuen then Nagumo is going to take the position of the rival in the 2nd year. What do you think?
>Kinugasa: I think about going into a fun guys route with Nagumo...... and the guys that came in the 1st year.
>Tomose: Things are really filthy recently (laughs). (むさ苦しい:Japanese saying for when there's nothing but guys)
>Kinugasa: I get really excited especially when write about that (laughs),
>Editor: There was an extra scene with the boys in volume 11.5.
>Kinugasa: I told Tomose-san "I want to do that!".
>Tomose: Hirata-kun is become more and more like a maiden (laughs). Are things really ok like this? (laughs)
>Kinugasa: All fine. I do like Hirata-kun.
>Tomose: Yeah, he is kinda cute. There definitely is a flag for Hirata-kun (laughs).
About the sub-characters that appeared in the colored illustrations
>Editor: Now that I think about it, in volume 8, aside from Mii-chan (Wang Mei-Yu) who came up in the illustration for volume 11, Yabu Nanami-chan and Yamashita Saki-chan made their appearance (laughs).
>Kinugasa: The reason that those sub-characters were featured was because I wanted to make more characters appear. They should have a role somewhere.
>Tomose: Oh, they had names, huh. First time hearing that...... (strained laugh). Were there any requests?
>Kinugasa: No, I don't think I said anything. Even if I did, it would be only minor things.
>Editor: Their only appearance is there, huh. Not even a monochrome illustration or anything.
>Tomose: True. Were they even classmates?
>Editor: No, aside from Mii-chan the others were from different classes. Same class as Hiyori.
>Tomose: I see, will try to remember that. I forgot about a lot (laugh).
>Editor: That aside, Stand-in Principal Tsukishiro does appear in a standard monochrome illustration in volume 11.
(Hard to read that first part)
>Kinugasa: I think I only did the request about the character.
>Editor: That's why it can be in any situation or weather.
>Editor: Volume 7.5 was Karuizawa and 11.5 was Ichinose.
>Tomose: I want to play more with .5 volumes. Wonder who will be in the next .5 volume...
>Kinugasa: indeed.
Tomose: Will the .5 volume in the 2nd Year be volume 4.5?
>Kinugasa: If it goes as planned I think it will
>Tomose: I can't even begin to imagine what the story will be like by then.
>Kinugasa: Nobody does (laugh).
>Tomose: Even the author (laugh).
>Kinugasa: Well, I do have the basic idea. Will it be a new character...... I think it will. Let's just leave it as something for later.
>Tomose: Will it be a popular character, I wonder (laugh)?
>Kinugasa: It will be a character in the spotlight.
>Tomose: Ah, I see. In terms of the narrative.
About how are the illustrations requested:
>Tomose: There are very few requests. For example, in the case of Tsukishiro it was "Someone that looks gentle, the rest is normal"
>Editor: The illustration from volume 11 gave that impression.
>Tomose: Yes, he does look gentle at a glance...... I think that characters like this are the real bad ones (laugh).
>Kinugasa: Yes (laugh).
>Tomose: I do think it fitted well. The request are really loose (laugh).
>Kinugasa: Isn't it fine that way? That's the good part about me!
>Tomose: But it is easy to draw. And if it doesn't fit then you will say so, right?
>Kinugasa: If it doesn't I will. It generally fine so I don't really say anything.
>Tomose: When you look at it that way, am I not kinda amazing? (laugh)
>Kinugasa: You are doing your best (laugh).
>Tomose: My perception powers (laugh).
>Kinugasa: Well, we know each other for 20 years, that's a long time.
>Editor: You wouldn't really understand the important points with those request. Normally there is more variation in the requests.
> Kinugasa: True. If you ask for a kind middle-aged man there would be a bunch of types.
>Tomose: When I read it, it looks like you are adjusting to the illustration, are you not?
>Kinugasa: Well. There are places that have changed after the illustration comes.
>Tomose: Those places that have changed are adjusting to the illustration.
>Editor: When the story is unsteady there are times when the illustration is used as a checkpoint to make it fit.
>Tomose: I see. So you are using the illustrations to link parts together?
>Kinugasa: ...... Were there any unsteady parts? (laugh)
>Tomose: He's calling your script unsteady (laugh).
(can't read)
>Kinugasa: The thing is, in every volume.
>Editor: Even so, there are time when the text adds up to the illustration, making it fit in better and bringing in synergy.
>Tomose: Yeah, it does becomes better by combining both.
>Kinugasa: I don't think it becomes bad.
>Editor: When it comes to Light Novels there are a lot of times when you are working separately and have to fit in the illustration at the end.
>Kinugasa: Yes, there aren't a lot of times when you change the text and the illustration after looking at it.
>Editor: If there are any major mistakes then we fix it but nothing quite like making it feel natural. Since you are making a bunch of changes not including the text.
>Tomose: I have been wanting to ask but, do most other illustrators draw after reading the text or do they get just requests?
>Editor: As far as I know, the more popular the series is the more times you will have to do it without the text.
>Tomose: Oh, so it is like that.
>Editor: Honestly, having a big popularity means having greater expectations and you have a higher hurdle of having to make the story more interesting so for some just writing becomes an enormous pressure. So the impression I have is that with popular series you give illustrations request in the stage of thinking about the plot.
>Tomose: I see.
>Kinugasa: That's the way things are.
>Tomose: But I don't even get the plot......(laugh)
>Everyone: (laugh)
>Kinugasa: Because there is no plot (laugh).
>Tomose: I just draw it thinking "What is this scene about?"
>Editor: That's why Kinugasa tries desperately to fit in the end (laugh).
>Tomose: Ultimately I end up trying to solve a puzzle with the illustration...... (laugh)
>Everyone: (laugh)
>Kinugasa: The most important scenes are the ones that have an illustration so I already have an mental image about them.
>Tomose: Ah, well that's expected. I though you would have.
>Editor: But that's the real secret. You would normally write separately. You would try to fit it in but by the time the illustration finishes the text is almost done.
>Tomose: Yeah.
>Editor: You can't really change the scene just the presentation, and Kinugasa-san will, well, change a lot (laugh).
>Tomose: Ah, speaking about that...... There's something that caught my attention, isn't there normally a number in the request? From 1 to 10. The number of the illustration and the order of the place where it goes is completely scattered.....(laugh).
>Kinugasa: No, those numbers don't really have anything to do with the contents.
>Tomose: Eh, that's completely unrelated?
>Kinugasa: Completely.
>Tomose: Like the order of events, or something......?
>Kinugasa: Not that either. That wasn't the case even once until now (laugh).
>Tomose: Oh, I see! But I was wondering what that was about (laugh).
>Kinugasa: Completely unrelated (laugh).
>Editor: The place to put the illustration and the Request Number are all nonsensical so when I'm preparing the final edition I'm always like "If i place it wrong it's over......"
>Tomose: That sounds tough. Like you think it's in order but the last one actually comes in first.
>Kinugasa: Yes.
>Tomose: You would think that the plot has changed.
>Kinugasa: The plot is always changing so rather than the order of events it's the order that I decided I need them.
>Tomose: Ah, so what came before and later is unrelated?
>Kinugasa: Like that.
>Editor: I'm glad that Tomose-san pointed that out since I'm always suffering because of that so it's good to have someone that understands me (laugh).
>Everyone: (laughing hard)
>Kinugasa: To think that you were all suffering withou me knowing (laugh).
>Tomose: Yeah (laugh). Everyone is suffering (laugh).
>Editor: In the past I would rename the files in the order of the illustrations but now I don't have the time to rearrange them while looking so I just try to fit it in at the end.
>Tomose: I have been writting "No time" a lot but is that alright (laugh).
>Kinugasa: No, no! We are scheduling things to make some leeway (laugh).
>Tomose: Really? (laugh) You are trying to make you look like a genius? (laugh)
>Kinugasa: Like "The manuscript? It's already done."
>Tomose: It's really not like Kinugasa-sensei to worry is it (laugh).
>Kinugasa: I do worry though (laugh).
>Tomose: Back in the days of Eroge wasn't it common for the Illustrations to be done before the script? Were you also trying to fit it in?
>Kinugasa: I was (laugh). I have been doing the same.
>Tomose: You would ask me to draw already, because you would try to fit it in (laugh).
>Editor: But with games the opposite is also quite common. The story is first then the illustration will come later.
>Kinugasa: Yes, but that has been surprisingly a good way of doing things.
>Editor: So it's been like that since making games.
>Kinugasa: Yeah.
>Tomose: The bad habit won't go away (laugh).
>Kinugasa: Isn't it fine when things are working that way.
>Tomose: I do think so. It feels like a live performance (laugh).
I still wonder if Airi will come back to her supporting role. I'm well aware that Kiyo is protecting her by distancing her from his schemes. But this is a bit much.

Can I even post this much here?
I can't take Nagumo seriously. But I suppose that after so much preparation it is necessary that he has some role.
I think it's still Horikita Suzune. If you follow the novel, the story revolves around Ayanokoji's action behind the scenes and rebelling against his father and Suzune aiming for class A. That's always the focus. Right now, their goals are kinda different in nature but I think it will eventually intertwine in the future once Suzune enters the Student Council, and especially now that she wants to support everyone in the class.
Heroines are being added in the MC's Harem left and right but I have this feeling that Horikita would be the final boss. The author is slowly and consistently developing her relationship with the MC. They said her ship is dead but I don't think it is.
She is not a heroine, she is a second main lead. Can you please stop labeling her as that. Sudou has a bigger chance in romance with her than Ayanokouji. And that clearly tells you the obvious that she will be her own character and not Ayanokouji's love interest.
Like goddamn your a cringey guy. Kinugasa himself said this series clearly doesn't have a clear one so please stop saying delusional things like that. I mean every girl nearly disappers from the story for some time. Happend to all of them already so I don't still get how do you guys label a specific girl as a main heroine. I called Horikita the second main lead cause quite clearly she is that. She is the one that is gunning for class A the most and you could call that her story while Ayanokouji's story is about him and his growth.
