Then again I didn't read the very beginning of the novel. I read the manga and then switched over to the web novel around when loligon first showed up in dragon form.

IIRC Tanaka has called her loli very few times (he calls her more by her "name") and as Cyan is not a recurring character in the series well it's quite easy to forget it xD

I'm following the novel so i only have a general feel of the end of the novel and none of specific arcs.
Right now Tanaka has been given the title of baron but with extremely harsh and unfair conditions so i wanted to know what will happen? And he will resolve the entire situation?

CH - 51: Territory pioneering eight

Prime Minister wasn't there so he didn't react.

Tanaka was tricked by a guard and lost the money, but Neumann appeared with it and saved the day. As the King knew that Tanaka was deceived he reacted with doubts when Neumann brought the money, I do not know if this was King's plan or the idea of the Prime Minister.

Later, the king speaks privately with Tanaka to apologize and returns the gold.

The nobles simply react like morons as they don't like the idea of a commoner becoming noble, but that is later.

And does that mean that he's among the wealthiest of the country?

I can't say as it was never stated or at least I don't remember it.

I dont't think so, it's true that Tanaka would prefer to avoid problems which is a pretty common japanese logic (source: many youtubers living in japan) but as he cares about Edita he probably would do something.

Edita doesnt' seem to care about the recipes as she even wants to collaborate with Tanaka as coresearcher, she is a good alchemy geek that only cares about research and write books.

Actually, there was a reason to kill her (not necessarily have to be her) since the ectoplasm (or some kind of magical substance of the spirits) is a key ingredient for the healing potion which they discovered because the bath that was built in the same place where she was murdered had healing properties.

Water infused with pessari grass (Magic absorbent herb) + Tons of mana + Ectoplasm from a haunting ghost = Healing Potion

P.D. Tanaka couldn't heal her cause she was instakilled.
