Nothing surprising for the slowly dying Toaru novel series.

Actually I wonder if the series could get to score above 125,000 for the next two volumes without relying on the "the cake/cover is a lie" marketing tactics used on nt3 & nt7.

6-8 were released during the months the movie hit and had home media release, btw.

And to point out the movie box office & bd/dvd release was during the year 6-8 came out.

ie It needs an anime, I think.

Far from it, NT10 sales is not completed, beside, many people complaining about the low sale but for general LN market, let 100,000, even 50-60,000 is already a dream to many author that have novel that is well receive by the fanbase.
the drop still have yet force them to pull out the anime card, since the next season should be pre and during ww3 arc.
Kagerou days is having an anime so it's boost the sale further.
Like people said, Index is very hard to get new fans due to it's high amount of material, the anime card is only pull out when they realize the fanbase growth have some problem.

I know. I don't think they want it dropping into 130k & below territory though. Because it's clear it can be held up higher and I was just making a relation that all 3 were released around the time Endymion was out and being hyped for home media release in August. Or is that assumption wrong? since I'm admittedly not super informed in this outside of Anime generates excitement for source material sales.

not wrong, but not entirely correct, the index sales is being boosted with the Accelerator spin off so they don't require the anime at the moment.

well Kamachi still have the" To aru majutsu no Thor" card in his armory.

Yeah, but the 10 years isn't strictly talking about Index's run. Its like Kono LN ga Sugoi! 2014's Best Novel Series of 10 years section. Index wasn't 10 years old then but still came in first.

EDIT: It probably came from Kono LN ga Sugoi! 2014.

Also information regarding Kamachi's new book is out. Title loosely translates to : The goddess that became light and Blood Sign. It goes on sale on 10th September. Looks like no NT 11 then huh.
