As promised, here are some scans of a few of the goodies that comes with the first press/pre-order limited edition of the PS2 game.

Of note, that third poster is a special guest illustration by the famed manga group Kaishaku. Other goodies include a sticker sheet, clearfile, 6 more mini-posters, and an illustration book; you can see it all on the official website.

Does anybody know where to buy the calender or the posters? Also, anybody got anymore pics from the calender or the posters, or know where to find more pics of these things?

Are you talking about the ones I posted last week? Those were all extras that came with the pre-order/first press limited edition of the PS2 game, and they're not sold separately. In terms of where to find more pictures of all that stuff, I guess someone else somewhere in the world must have scanned the rest already, but those are all the scans I've done myself so far. Blame laziness....

It's the radical blur effect, making lines emphasizing the subject at the center of the frame. I know what you're talking about. = P

I will...I wonder though what crossed their minds to come up with that.

Just hide it inside the DVD box, if it has the usual character art...

EDIT: Maybe they're trying to repel those who might think they're buying something cute (when it is whenever Aruruu graces the screen, by the way). ADV might not want new followers of the anime to suddenly see characters being ripped apart without them knowing what they're actually watching. *remembers Karura's fight scenes* But it's still an ugly cover. They could have just pulled up some dark image with the characters or something.

Nothing is official yet. I could be a temporary art until the real DVD box art rolls around. At least, I hope so. I think we all hope so.
