I just beat the game and like the first one, I enjoyed it. Unlike the 1st one, this is a bit harder because enemies just keep coming at you....it's really irritating especially if you don't like getting hit too much. Oh, and it's a nice improvement over the Little Sister's design because the 1st one look absolutely creepy IMO .

^ I borrowed this game FYI, when the price goes down then I'll add it to my collection

Question: Does anybody know the title for the songs used during loading screens?

Done with the 1st run through of the game today. I could see why people makes mention that it feels more like a expnasion rather than a true sequel. But what the heck, the game delivers what I demands. Which is more of those Little Sisters and beyond. Eleanor is suprisingly moe, mo matter the yound or teenage version of her.

I do not know whether they will go for a 3rd instalment. But it will be interesting to explore whether those Rescued Little Sisters will pass their genetic mutuations onto the next generations should they grow up, married and give birth. We could build a story about this, set it in the cold war era of the 70's and have both rogue elements of American and Soviet military attempting to reap Rapture's advance genetic sciences for their own purpose.

What!? I just got all the achievements last night, I was preparing to take the game back to gamefly and already there's talk about DLC!? Any set release date so I can decide whether or not to hold onto the game a bit longer?

Hmmm I'm also part of the crew who ended up getting bored once I hit Rank 40 and there was nothing else to accomplish for me Mutiplayer wise. However with the DLC in addition to ranking up a bit more, IF there's also achievements included in it I would consider purchasing the Mutiplayer DLC.

If there is indeed a Single Player DLC that's not a mere Plasmids expansion then Achievements or not I'll still get it.

still playing through, i'm enjoying it a lot. It was nice to return to Rapture. Although I didn't notice that the little sisters were less creepy I'd have to play Bioshock 1 to look for differences again. They did seem to be a little more carefree but still any little kid skipping around in an environment such as Rapture, drinking blood and talking with that echoing voice and glowing eyes is going to be creepy.

In the end it's still a shooter, so yes rent it. It depends on if you enjoyed Bioshock 1 enough to buy, if you bought Bioshock 1 you might as well buy Bioshock 2 and if you rented Bioshock 1...you know what I'm trying to say.

However it is still a good shooter I'm not gonna lie and the muti-player is pretty fun, I plan on getting it along with Bioshock 1 once the game is cheaper.

I'm honestly surprised you can rent PC games these days, particularly ones that require you to register the CD key with a user created account.

It'd be like trying to rent an MMO, I just cant see it. Personally I'd just buy the game since the key is locked too you. Or are the rented games different?

The constant "daddy" lines directed at me definitely made them less creepy in my eyes. To the point that I can't even bring myself to harvest them and try for a bad ending.

I hope they come out with a patch to fix the vending machine voices soon though. Especially the circus of values. Now THAT was creepy.

Yeah but Bioshock requires you to have a Windows Live account to activate it (like an Xbox Live account, or a Steam account) sooo I dunno how that would work.

Mm yeah maybe, I guess that could make them a little more personable, but it's still creepy in context. Did make you want to protect the little one for the whole game though.

Yeah I noticed that the Circus of Values wasn't doing its audio, I was really disappointed in that.

"Come back when you got some money, buddy!"

"Welcome to the Circus of Values."

"My daddy's smarter than Einstein, stronger than Hercules and can light a fire with a snap of his fingers. Are you as good as my daddy, Mister? Not if you don't visit the Gatherer's Garden, you aren't! Smart daddies get spliced, at the Gardens!"

Actually the other audio from the Gatherer's Garden made the Little Sisters even creepier imo, with the way they sing it.

"In the garden we are growin', many changes will be flowin'. If you wanna be amazin' see the flowers we are raisin'!"

also the fact that lots of PC games can be Pirated now. even if you pirate WoW you still need a account and monthly payment.
