Yep after the roof was gone, that's all she wrote for the church. Not even a piece of lumbar left. Pretty efficient imo. But that hole in the roof looks suspicious for something else happening imo. Besides, Takeshi was outside of Mayuko's new location being angry so something's up there.
Location: In the office, staring at my secretary shipgirl
Age: 37
Spoiler for ep 7:
Seriously, we all thought it would end in a light note in a way after last week's revelation about Aono, turns out that we are surprised by Aono going SEED. Not to mention, the preview for next week is probably hints of more drama, if the changing colours of the sky is one thing.
I do sort of understand her predicament...having been 'abandoned' just like that all of sudden.
1. I love all the characters, including Aono. She uses up all her energy creating/reviving Yorito (maybe) and then he goes and prefers Matsuri...again. I feel so much sympathy for her. Killing people -- or even yaka -- is wrong, but my heart still aches for her. She has been alone and lonely for so long, and now that there is the prospect of some relief, it is snatched away from her again. The fate of a yaka, to be a concentration of sorrow and disappointment.
2. I thought the first half of the show was great. So sad. So full of feeling.
3. Aono getting dressed was totally cute. And I think Nakahara Mai is showing how this sort of character of few words is done. GJ! And Shimizu Ai is perfect as Koyori in this ep.
4. Not sure about the church or how Mayuko and Matsuri come to be together. One thing, though: Aono probably didn't count on Mayuko being there to revive Matsuri.
5. Up above the town on their "date," Yorito says to Aono: "Before, we...." Then he stops, as if he can't remember what they did before. Perhaps because he didn't exist that far in the past.

Rewatching the episode a fourth time (yes, yes, I did) I got to thinking about Aono:
Spoiler:
How many times her heart has been broken due to Yorito?
Then you start to feel bad for her. I'm presuming now that the title, Sola, refers to not only Yakas in general, but to Matsuri, Mayuko, and most definitely Aono. Looking back to Ep.6, it seems she loved Yorito so much to be willing to kill herself. And, in death hoping to be by his side. Unfortunately, Matsuri revived her which is why she asked "Why did you revive me?" That is more than enough proof that she and Yorito are not blood related. Aono's lived a long life alone, just wanting to be by Yorito again and keep him with her.
However, undying love and wanting to be with Yorito for centuries would eventually lead to something of a obsessive nature. If she indeed revived or recreated Yorito just for the need to have him by her side in every time period, then she has probably grown to be very clingy to and became obsessed with Yorito; not wanting him to be with anyone else including Matsuri.
I'm starting to see Orion's suggestion as a possibility as I mentioned before that she maybe have probably killed Yorito, not only over jealously, but over a very strong love for him. It seems beyond a Romeo and Juliet style ending to be with each other after death. That she went so far to kill herself and possibly revived Yorito so many times over including altering or erasing his memories.. That seems more likely now, seeing that Aono is willing to go so far to kill Matsuri, but not by her hands alone... Now, with Matsuri back in her life and Yorito's, she seems wanting to do anything to keep Yorito by her side.
The only one factor that can change all this centers on Matsuri, as we see that Yorito still longs for Matsuri, even after centuries of being away from her. But, there's got to be something else we're missing here-- about Aono, Matsuri, Mayuko, Yorito and 3 months ago and the past...
However, this anime continues to surprise me at each turn as this episode did. I can't wait for Ep.8 now and see Yorito's face when he snaps out of that trance... oh boy!
Don't think that's likely, as Takeshi is looking for her half the time in this episode. Looks like she ran away from him, and somehow ended up with Matsuri.
Just a point of interest, but I really like how they're continuing with the parallel between Yorito and Takeshi. First the flashback in ep 5, and now the both of them lonesomely searching for their respective companions. I fully expect there to be some dynamic between these two in the future. Come to think of it, the writer is definitely making a statement about the major themes in general by having all the yaka characters either running from their friends, or wallowing in despair.

Spoiler:
You're way to soft on Aono. If she did kill Yorito so that no one else can have him, then she's screwed in the head big time imo. Her committing suicide rather than live with her mistake is worse especially to do it where Matsuri lived. "See, look what you made me do. You're the cause of it all. I hope that you're satisfied now." If she revived him over and over and messed with his memories, then she's got a very sick obsession going on. She has identified herself to him as "sister". That basically knocks out any romantic involvement with the guy. There's other girls at his school too. If it wasn't Matsuri, then it would be someone else imo. Matsuri is a hard act to follow though.
She has put herself in a situation for further "heartbreak". She has only herself to blame. No sympathy from me.
She's one sick and pathetic chick imo if that's her story.

Spoiler:
I think that it's the human-yaka interactions that's causing the problems. Matsuri-Mayuko haven't had any problems. It's Matsuri-Takeshi that's causing problems. Aono-Yorito is causing major problems imo. Matsuri-Yorito isn't causing problems if Aono is out of the picture.
Eh, Matsuri and Yorito have their problems as well, regardless of Aono. The fact that she's so convinced of the impending pain she's going to cause him, to the point where she's trying to disappear is evidence enough of that.
Haha, I second that sentiment. Though by the looks of it, the best Aono can do is slow the inevitable.
Spoiler for ep. 7:
I'm not sure she's even managed to do that.
Matsuri's injuries may not be fatal, but as of episode 7's ending she's definitely down for the count. What happens next hinges on how strong Aono's influence over Yorito really is, i.e. whether she can make him turn around, walk out of there and straight back home.
If she can't, and Yorito comes to his senses immediately post-stabbing, then you can bet that the next place Matsuri opens her eyes will be in Yorito's bedroom. If that happens, then Aono will be in the unfortunate position of accidentally having helped Yorito get Matsuri back, since in her healthy state Matsuri would have been quite capable of getting away from him.
The other tantalising prospect, from a drama point of view, is that Yorito takes Matsuri home and she doesn't wake up until it's broad daylight and Aono has come home. At that point, all three participants in our unhappy love triangle will be cooped up together for up to twelve hours in one smallish house, and we'll be in for some real fun.
Ha, don't get my hopes up. An uncomfortable situation to that degree would be nothing short of pure gold. Of the mildly sadistic variety of course, but gold nonetheless. XD

Spoiler:
I'm all for this "hell on earth" scenario for Aono too. Of course, then we have to bring Mayuko along for the ride and Yorito's harem will be complete.
Also. we'd get to see how Matsuri plans her attack.
