Konohas strongest Jounin??

We know he can use summoning jutsus and knows how to dispel genjutsu. Besides he doesn't have to look at her hands or eyes...just her feet...

someone like Neji...He's a new Jounin so I'm guessing he doesn't have the experience of the others quite yet and that may be his greatest weakness.

I think Asuma, then Anko, and then Kurenai would be the next strongest and possibly Ebisu...

What are these "anti-sharingan" abilities of Gai that I've been hearing about?

Gai's anit-sharingan ailities are not looking directly into the eye but instead looking at the feet and body and interpreting the moves fom them.

I always thought the top three were Kakashi, Gai, and Asuma in that order. Asuma’s databook stats are more well rounded than Gai’s, but I see him just a tick below the other two.

1. Kakashi
2. Gai
3. Asuma

Then I go with some of the clan heads.

4. Hiashi. Strongest guy in Konoha’s second strongest clan.
5. Shikaku. Based on recent events. This guy is badly underrated and might even be on par with Kakashi and Gai.
6. Shizune. Tsunade without the super strength.
7. Chouza. Just imagine a stronger, more intelligent, and less clumsy Chouji.
8. Kurenai. A late bloomer. She was only appointed to jounin right before we pick up the series.
9. Shibi. The Aburame are one of the four royal clans of Konoha. That has to count for something.
10. Inoichi. Don’t judge him by his daughter. Shinranshin is a pretty nasty justu.

As for...

I can’t put Neji in that top 10. Neji is just a rookie jounin. And he didn’t even do much against a 30% Kisame. We’ll have to see him fight later to see where he is. But I think he is being overrated right now.

1. Kakashi - We are talking about the strongest Jounin in Konoha, in terms of Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu, Kakashi will win hands down and with Sharingan it makes him even more deadlier.

2. Gai - He is mainly a Taijutsu user, i have yet too see him perfrom any Ninjutsu or Genjutsu (i could be wrong, unless you count summoning as ninjutsu), his skill can put him on the same lvl as kakashi, i guess thats why he considers kakashi as an rival

Genma along with raito were fighting four ninja with cs2. I'd say given the circumstances he did about as well as anyone else would have, maybe even a little better.

Yeah the fight wasn't showed blah blah...i'm not saying he's weak or anything, i like the guy i was disappointed with his age thoughhe seems younger, but he's not close to being the strongest Jounin.

That's right but Gai has said several times that he is stronger then Kakashi.
Besides...i doubt that there are many who can win against Gai when he starts to open gates (i am sure he can open all 8)

The Hyuuga Clan is the strongest clan of Konoha.
There is no clan stronger then the Hyuuga clan...

I have no idea why you guys think that Shikaku is that badass actually...we have seen pretty much nothing about him except that he defeated Shikamaru with shougi. Brains arent everything...just like power.

Anyway i think these clan leaders are strong without a doubt but...Konoha has alot of powerfull jounins. Anyway the lists below are in order (which is probably correct)
