Worse. I loved part one the characters were great the development was awesome and the plot was wow. Now all part two consists of is senseless power ups, Naruto and Sasuke, plot holes, randomeness, useless female characters. I'm sorry part 2 is good but it is not that good.

Worse. You won't find many disagreeing to this after the end of Pein's battle.

part 1 was good, but it was about annoying little kids, which only goes so far in my book .. also, the main villain was orochi, he's a pedo

and the post Sasuke retrieval FILLERS, OH GOD THE HORROR

part 2 has Akatsuki, Itachi revelation (awesome), Pein (the end of his fight with Naruto sucked, but his gravity techniques srsly rock) and Madara, who is far better then Orochi IMHO

but generally yeah, I can see how manga part 1 is smoother and easier to digest then shippuden

part 1 is definitely better.....

the music in part 1 is far greater than the shippuden...
like Sadness and sorrow for example....

also... Sasuke's jealosy over Naruto is EPIC!

Are we taking about the manga or the anime?

Manga-wise, I'd rate Part II better. I just hated Part I. I thought it was just ridiculous shit. I still don't like it that much.

I don't know about the anime adaptation.

I think both the anime and manga changed but in good ways. The voices to the anime definately got better but I don't know much about the manga but I read a bit and for some reason I enjoyed how it was all layed out more then part 1.
