For shows my top five favourite is the following

1. Peacemaker kurogane, and Bluegender tied for first place
2. Gungrave
3. Trinity blood
4. Trigun
5. Samurai champloo

Peacemaker kurogane, probably had the best last 8 episodes i have ever seen, i mean the climax to the show was developed so well, and the characters in the show were so cool. The action was great and quite bloody which i loved. episode 21-23 was so well done. Also this show had a nice amount of comedy in it, i mean episode 24 was great reflecting on everything. I really hope for a sequel anime for this

Bluegender was kind of bad till episode 6. After that episode i mean when you get to see the character development in the episodes after that the show was simply amazing. The character development for the main female character was so well done and paced out, the only thing is that the development for the main male character was quite a jumpy. Still the show was awsome till the last episode, and the ending was happy ending considering this show being earth being taken over by aliens similar to star ship troopers.

Gungrave was an awsome show. The first episode was not that intersting but when the main characters past is being revealed in those episodes the show is very nice , and the show is also quite orgional. Its a great mafia, action, supernatural show. It also shows alot of deciet, and also a very good friendship bond. A great anime about child hood friends that grew up in the streets, till they got into the mafia, where they gained fame and power, then one of the friends betrayed his own friend because of his own greed, and also that his friend was not accepting his offer. You can see what happens after that, the ending for this show was highly dramatic, and such an ending that it was an ending the ends it all. That is what it felt like

Trinity blood, dont really know but when i watched 17 episodes of this show straight this show really got me into it. Characters were great, and also it had a nice story line. I dont really know how to describe it but it was a great show to watch.

Trigun at first the show was kind of crappy to me, but when this show got serious the show got me hooked and very interested. The show was full of comedy in the begining and the characters were fooling around so much in the show in the begining, but when it got to the actual plot the show got highly dramatic, i acutally thought that they made this show overdramatic, but still the show was a wild rollercoaster ride. Easily a great show this is, but the music sucked in the show.

Samuari champloo, let me put it like this. This is the show that got me into other anime series.

To be honest all these shows i would consider them equel in some way, i mean these shows are easy 10/10 for me.

There are other great shows i have seen, but these are the ones that i really liked.

Top 5 huh....

1.) Shuffle!
-> I always have a soft spot for love stories, and this anime is no exception.

2.) Fate/Stay Night
-> The story is very intriguing enough to get hooked the first time

3.) Bleach
-> The best action/comedy anime I ever seen. The whole zanpaktou thing is the one keeps me interested, well, the story is also another thing. Also, this is the first time I've seen that even the situation is serious, they always put some hilarious things, that's why it doesn't get too boring.

4.) D.N.Angel
-> Same reason as Shuffle!

5.) Petite Princess Yucie
-> A little childish but I like it because it's mixed with fantasy and magics

1.School Rumble-This has got to be the funniest anime i have ever seen.

2.Suzuka-A really good romace/drama and its really realistic.Too bad it had to end.

3.Full Metal Panic: All Three of Seasons-Great comedy/romance combined with mecha.Definatly one of the best

4.Love Hina-Another great comedy/romance.This one is a classic. You've got to check this out if you havent alredy.

5.Samurai Champloo-An excellent mix of action, comedy, and hiphop. The story was very well plot.Another must watch.

Am really the comedy kinda guy. I dont really care what i watch aslong as i get a good laugh, but the ones i listed will literally make you piss in your pants. Except for suzuka, that one doesnt have much comedy in it but sometimes its really refreshing to dip your head in something new once in a while.

well, for my top 5:

1. Air TV
2. Saikano
3. Honey & Clover
4. Great Teacher Onizuka
5. Someday's Dreamers

They're all slice of life/comedies. Ones close that didn't make the cut would've been:

School Rumble
Elfen Lied
Last Exile.

As you can clearly see, I'm basically into Shoujo stuff .

1.) Dragon Ball Series (i.e Original, Z, GT)
DB heavily influenced my interest in Anime. If i haven't watched this anime growing up then i wouldn't be an otaku right now.

2.) Full Metal Alchemist
FMA displays morals and human virtues that would certainly educate the minds of people. It does a very good job combining action, suspense, and drama all in one sitting.

3.) Naruto
At first i watched Naruto in a bandwagon sense, since before my friends keep talking about it and i wastnt watching it yet. I gave it a try and i got easily hooked up in the first episode. Excellent storyline and it does very well in putting various characters that help extend the diversity in personalities in anime characters.

4.) GateKeepers
This is the anime i always look forward to when coming home from school when i was in grade school. Very nice artwork.

5.) Bleach
I've only watched this recently(watched eps 1-66 last week), and the artwork is great, having a good storyline and arcs which are sure not to bore the viewer.

Notable Favorites:

6.) Initial D
7.) Love Hina
8.) Full Metal Panic!
9.) Suzuka
10.) Detective School Q

In no order:

- Beck
- Ghost in the Shell (series and movies)
- Samurai Champloo
- Elfen Lied (so sad )

- i can't really think right now so i'll just say Serial Experiments Lain to rap things up

Beck, Champloo and GITS are some of the best animes out there. if you haven't watched them i strongly recommend you do so.
