Well, the most important status indicator is that volume 1 will be available in stores in August. With the larger format and promise of no censoring, sounds like it has a chance at being a decent release (if only they hire good typesetters... Suzuka's tricky to typeset in English because of the narrow rectangular bubbles... and I hope they don't use the same font as they're using for Pastel...)

After a lot of posting in the anime thread, this is my first time on the manga side, which now I will follow without spoiler fearing.
After having watched the raw of episode 25 (and especially the preview from 26) it was quite cheap to guess how the anime was going to end, and so I went "spying" on chapters 69-72 to discover what at that rate was higly guessable.

Then I've continued over chapter 72, and have been a bit disappointed seeing how slow the story developed after that arc. The only meaningful event I remember is that hugging scene in chapter 82 (which seems to be an extended version of the famous "shirt tugging").
This last chapter 90 made me a bit happy for the reasons you guys have already stated.

Meanwhile, I'm rooting for the manga having a long development.. because.. I really would like a second season of the anime. Until tomorrow I won't know how the anime will end, but scenes as the hugging, this last kissing/slapping , and who knows what will come in the future, are really deserving to be watched in "animated mode"

I guess that 'till now from 73 to 90 no more than .. 5 episodes could be extracted. So the manga should extend for another.. 40 chapters.. in order to realistically hope for a second tv season.

Just some wondering.
But you know .. Suzuka is one of those show that really leaves an hole.. when it ends

I highly doubt there will be a second season of the anime. I don't see there being enough substance for it.

Well for the english manga I have go to chapter 32, but they are doing a good job at caught up. So far they have gone to the 4th volume. But to keep this on the subject i hate that guy who just spoiled the ending for me for the anime. XD
Damn and i was look so forward to the last ep.

Since chapter 72, everyone's been waiting for both of them to actually have a mutual kiss together. It's been dragging on for 18 chapters until now.

Of course afterwards she lays the smack down on Yamato. Suzuka sure looked cute with those teary eyes.
