Somebody should create a wiki page for the android game to at least we should know what button does what
What I figured out it shares elements with Kancolle (Resource generation, ship construction and repair) but also includes FPS (targeting with the weapons in battle mode) and strategy (main battle with hexagonal layout) elements. |

That depends on Gamilas involvement in this series.
If it follows the original, there will be some interaction between Gamilas, Earth, and Gatlantis. But the situation and background information is different now. So no telling what state Gamilas is in more than two years after Yamato left the system. However we do have a solid answer to one of our questions. Wave Motions Guns...Wave Motion Guns everywhere. Might even be a rivalry in designs from the various Earth regions, which might be interesting as long as they aren't trying to shoot each other. (Far East Region designs. US designs. EU designs. Russian designs...etc...). The unanswered question is, how effective are they verses Yamato's Iscandarian Wave Motion Core? Did they successfully reverse engineer it? Or are they used something similar?

Are the new ships/images from the Battlefield Infinity game considered canon/official
If yes. Based on the images available online we have new destroyers/cruisers? (similar but different than Hood/Konigsberg). No WMGs. a modified Borodino class SB (WMG ports closed off or are those doors?) a modified Lexington class battlecarrier (WMG ports closed again or are they doors?) Cosmo Tiger 2 Attack fighter is that right so far? I'd love to see some different style Space Battleships along with the Andromeda in the next film. Some of the Lighthouse family of designs of different ship classes/SBs would make for an interesting fleet battle. Maybe the late return of some escape/exploratory SBs to help the Yamato v Comet Empire after the main fleet has been defeated. The Arizona/Prince of Wales/Bismarck escape SBs recalled to Earth. |

Those are doors. I've zoomed in on them and there are pivots at the upper part of the door.
I've not commanded such vessel or not to the part when my skill bar fully charged to fire the special weapon. With Yamato I've reached that state but there were no targets in range (in front of the ship). The Kongo class main weapon is the bow beam cannon (fires a single beam) secondary guns are the turrets, missiles are only effective against fighters (Not even against gunboats) and MG while fast firing those 1 dmg hits are not much... |

To go WMG crazy, I'd love to see some of the recent designs from online/design books.
From the Galaxy Navy in the 23rd Century design book Leander Class SB design replacing the Borodino design maybe Bismarck escape SB design (looks alot the classic WW2 battleship) - European Union design Trafalgar Class SBs - Trafalgar and Prince of Wales? maybe the UK escape designs Arizona Class SBs - From Lighthouse Mechanics Vesuvio - 4 chamber WMG Italy/EU escape SB design Petropavlovsk class - missile SB from Russia (Potemkin / Kirov potential names) North Carolina class SB design - New US battleship designs. Richelieu class SB design - France/EU design SBBX - Plan 004 design - instead of Borodino? Long Beach space command ship Spitfire/Mustangs fighters for the EU/US ships/carriers |

With less than a year left until the new series launches (even if it is in the theater/OVA release pattern of 2199) it seems like an eternity. Just want more information.
Kind of been waiting for this since seeing the full 10 minute preview of the Battle of Pluto.

Here is something interesting a fan came up with for Space Battleship Andromeda and the Cosmo Tigers for Yamato 2202.
If the series version is even close to this impressive, it will be very, very good.

That video is pretty cool.
The display of the fleet attack dispersement mode of the WMG was pretty awesome. I'd really like the Comet Empire City's weapons to be more imposing. Maybe launch a huge wave of Scorpion bombers from below. It never sense to me that slowly launched large missiles took out 12 WMG Space Battleships so quickly. None of the Battleships figured out to direct fire the missiles? or Fire below the shield? Fire directly at the Belt launcher thing. |

I like the UV texturing of the Andromeda and the fighters. Very well done. I wonder what 3D software they were using. It doesn't look like Lightwave, Maya, or 3Ds Max. I wonder if it was Cinema 4D?

Unfortunately I can't read enough Japanese to piece that together.
The artist has an earlier video of the Yamato's fighter launching systems. It is more or less what we have seen before, except included is shown how fighters are moved from the rearward pads to the forward pad so they can be rotated into launching position. The only confusion I can see is, how does the rear set rotate with the launch catapult in the way and in use?
