Orphans no Namida playing as Biscuit's life fades away.... why do you do this to us IBO? Why?
At the least, this episode has one of the funnier moments in MS battles: "I can shoot him right?" "Of course."

This was a really stupid episode, the two smartest guys in Tekkadan suddenly suffer brain damage and decide to show up in the battlefield for no good reason. They were doing ok at first by staying hidden and giving commands and then they decide to come out into open why exactly. Biscuit's death was just so stupid I can't even feel any sympathy whatsover

I've kinda expected him to die sooner or later, but the direction still made the scene powerful and sad. Not bad overall, however, I think Orga and Biscuit was a bit too close to the battle zone this time. I mean, closer than usual. It feels like the only real reason the director placed them so close is because he had to kill Biscuit here somehow, and couldn't really come up with a better idea. Not a big issue, but still feels weird a little.
By the way, I've been wondering a bit, couldn't Orga and the others. encrypt (this might not be right word but whatever) their communication channels somehow? It just seems weird the enemy can seemingly hear them all the time. |

Well, had Orga/Biscuit not moved closer to the battle, they couldn't have saved Shino... from their own trap.
I think Orga is just too used being part of the battle. There's a reason generals are usually found in the back of an army, not leading in the front row. You're no Erwin Rommel yet, Orga-kun. EDIT: Also, love Mika's disdain at the katana. Yeah, a fragile blade weapon is no good for someone not trained at swordplay. Wish more animes took notice of that... |

How do you do encryption when half your machines are literally the things you've scrapped from the last battle, though? I'm surprised they can maintain proper radio contact with each other, considering contemporary armies feel lucky if their groundpounders can get into touch with their own airforce... and those guys get to set their own standards/equipment. :/

If Biscuit remembering his sisters as his life slips away wasn't tragic enough, the first ED playing in the background twists the knife. I wonder why he and Orga were even that close to the fight though.
Despite it being a tragic episode, it still had a funny exchange on it. "I'm allowed to shoot, right?" "Of course" Priceless.
