It seems most anime fall into one of theose catagories. I don't think Kimi ga nozomi eien does, unless you want to be really strict on enforcing the girl-guy ratio one. Do girls he works with count? I'm sure there are more series that don't fall under these but I can't think of them right now.
Anyway you shouldn't limit yourself, just because an anime has a routine plot doesn't mean it's bad. There are a lot of twists on these catorgies they can do. A perfect example is Lain, yes it falls under 9, but still not in a typical way. Just like in US TV and Movies, anime producers tend to go with what's proven to make money. When something completely new comes out, in a few months there are 20 knock offs attempting to cash in.
