Does Sunrise plan on having like 6 shows or something alone in Fall? I count Gundam Build Fighters, G-Reco, Cross Ange, Tribe Cool Crew, Aikatsu and Buddy Complex. Not that it should make a difference since they're so sub-divided and rich, but it somehow feels a little overkill. Anyway this looks like their Studio 8 to me cause of all the female characters and the design style looking like it's inspired somehow by Mai Hime. Plus having a Princess character become a soldier just seems like a Sunrise Studio 8 somehow. I guess mecha anime really are coming in a torrent of shapes and flavors this year. I guess only Gundam gets the 2D mecha effort though which is kind of disappointing, but I figured that it's more a matter of all their 2D mecha animators just being tied up on other projects.

that her portraits was being seen everywhere in the street; obviously she was
the national idol.

After her falling from grace with some sort of bad news (I think this part is very
non-sense though) she is seen coming back riding a transformable robot and
fighting monsters, ie re-debuted, along with other girls.

Exactly the Mayu Shimada scenario in WUG

Well, I can see some Cross Ange group songs in-show soon.

Also according to the PV I think she is intended to be a mix of some
Gundam Seed characters, namely Cagalli, Lacus, and partly Shin Asuka.

Considering that "Normas" - which Ange and the girls are - are apparently seen as lesser beings on par with objects rather than humans, "re-debut" may not be the best way to describe the situation.

people, as Mana power is considered bigger, and much more capable than

Series comp being done by someone who worked on Sora Kake Girl doesn't surprise me the least bit. I watched the PV and looked at the poser before I read anything else and they echo vibes that series gave off to me. Whether is good or bad, I'm not sure. That aside...

I like ALMOST everything about this. I like the premise and the designs, adore the cast, love the music/atmosphere, I like the lack of men. The only things that turn me off are Ange's pilot suit (which I can probably grow to ignore, but it still has a really retarded design) and the studio, to a certain degree. The animation quality is just barely decent. Maybe there just needs to be more shots of them in action, but the dragons seem kind of stiff. I need to see more character movement to make a full assessment. Then there's Fukuda as creative director. God, please. No.

I won't be scared off just yet. But I am afraid. Very afraid.

to me the transformation looks less Wing Gundam & more like Gundam AGE's Strider modes with the gun mounted at the front of the cockpit instead of the shield,

also the finishing move is...... Kamen Rider Den-O Gun Form's special attack for the large enemies with the Gun Form Denliner?

I like the the design of the mechs even the Strike Freedom look alike and the plot sounds crazy enough to be real entertaining. I do have to call into question that last girl's outfit though. I don't see how that would be useful for anything but fan service it definitely can't help one pilot.
