Someone should do the "onii-sama" counter.
Based on what Tatsuya was saying there, was he implying that he can still feel the full effects of his emotions if it deals with Miyuki? I know it was implied, during that confrontation scene with the butler, that Japanese Jesus is kind of emotionally broken (muted?) because of his mother's experiments. Quote:

These ugly outfits Miraluka mentioned, it is like making it look like Mirage Bat is some kind of ballerina event.
Well, if I think deep down, these outfits are too good for the Mirage Bat though. Tatsuya said it is natural to be angry for Miyuki. But, to me it is unnatural to me that Tatsuya is the one who naturally gets angry because of some criminal syndicate put Miyuki in danger. Is Tatsuya's anger is natural? It is beyond natural, I call it supernatural, at least to me. |

Setting clothing choices aside, I thought this was one of the series' better episodes. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the scene involving Miki, Mizuki, Erika, and Leo. I like that foursome. To have a scene involving only them and about only them was a nice change of pace for the anime.

tatsuya is so manly ♥‿♥ i'm just fangirling nonstop ... i'm so glad that my brother isn't like him manly and hot... or else i don't know what i'll do ...
anyways enough of drooling... overall the ep wasn't tatsuya centered but still good.

Tatsuya's setbacks, it seems, tend to be social. He gets manipulated into things all the time. When he gets to actually pull out the kick ass, he does fine.
It kind of reminds me of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. Spoiler for comparison between Tatsuya and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha character:

Come to think of it, did they ever explain how Mirage Bat works as a game/sport? Do you simply hit as many of those light orbs as possible, or are you supposed to only collect or avoid a certain color? I might have missed it in a previous episode, but I really don't remember.
Also, I am kinda irritated that we have gotten an incompetent criminal group as the "antagonist" in both arcs so far, especially since this one was motivated by profits. This competition arc could have done without them to be honest. |

Agreed! Thanks to Tatsuya protecting Miyuki by beating up a No-Head Dragon secret operative, she uttered 12 times on this episode!
Still, those No-Head Dragons are lousy. Even if they send an enhanced human operative to disrupt the competition, sitting there and complain, whine, and wait for results makes them pathetically easy for special forces to dismantle them, once those kids from First High School found their hideout by pure luck. |
