Wasn't what I had in mind when I made the comment above to be honest - I was thinking more of the effectiveness in the way the story got across. I kinda felt it was slower, more detailed, more immersive and more engaging. At least it was for me....

Ah, probably so because the anime is only 12 episodes. but really, I like the story and everything it's just bishounen characters just kinda make it weird/awkward for me for some odd reason. I dunno why.

Inari Konkon Koi Iroha. It was a light-heart romance a bit saturated in iyashikei athmosphere. So, its not exactly a romcom, and drama can be pretty thick but still felt soft anyway.

Looks interesting I'll make sure to add that to my list

I have also have given Kamisama Hajimashita another chance to impress and I found I could enjoy it just from the humor aloneXD

They come with the territory since this is a shoujo "reverse harem." Bishies make up a goodly bunch of the characters in Saiunkoku Monogatari and the Hakuoki series for the same reason.

Now I'm tempted to suggest Nodame Cantabile and maybe even Kuragehime. Both those shows have some drama, though, and one of them includes a trap. For a more frothy confection, the few episodes of Sakura Trick that I have watched would also qualify if you're okay with girl-on-girl.

I have watched Nodame Cantabile, or at least most of it It's one of those series I never finished cause I'm too scared to

Update: Finished Inari Konkon, that series went by fast faster than Kamisama, which I'm still working on

The first sequel is a bit weak because J. C. Staff changed the team. The original staff returned for the "Finale," and it finished in style as I recall. The entire series with the sequels is here. The live-action version is pretty good, too, though I got tired of Ueno Juri's acting style as Nodame midway through the movies.

I just remember a manga: Hatsukiai

It was very very very very cute romance you might want to stock up your insulin before reading it.
