These are extreme spoilers....

Spoiler:

They fight several varieties of the buddhas and everyone dies except for kei. Then he fights this muscular midget aliens that whoop his ass. Then he meets this girl in his class whose like a 16 year old girl with a 12 year olds body. Frankly "Lara" was a lot better. At this point of the manga, the rules change drastically in terms of how people are selected and the overall "scope" of the game as the aliens appear in the "real world" instead of the gantz-like world. And now their fighting these dinosaur aliens in volume 12, hell they even have Americans whose dialogue appears in english in the manga. Of course a lot more happens between 6 and 12, but your just going to have to wait until they scanlate them (im talking psychic powers and stuff).

But I agree the anime has nothing on the manga. I understand them having to tone down the violence, but hell how could they jump from them meeting the little alien to them all getting killed by the big alien in a matter of seconds. That was like 5 chapters in 5 seconds. I hope the region 2's are unedited because I seen more violence in the trailer they had on the website when they were promoting it. The story makes no sense in terms of continuity as they jump from scene to scene.

I have a question regarding the aftermath of the second round against the birdmans

There were a group of 4 people that were fighting with the yakuzas I believed, at the end only one survived. How come the sole survivor was able to show his gun on the person who tried to make him pay to avoid a beating, shoot the man, and didn't die from exposing the world of gantz until he tried using his gun a second time against a crowd of gang members?

When he did that to the other guy it was only one so he would die anyway thus not exposing GANTZ, however against the bikers there were many so i'm pretty sure some of them would run and tell other people about it, that's probably why the gun didn't work and he died.

Yeah, it had to be some sort of acid. Probably nitric or something, I dont know. As far as points, kei got jacked as he took down those big bastards in the buddha arc, but he was right as "most" of them were taken out by the other players. They had a true extermination squad for the buddha arc (army guy, sniper, karate guy, "tomb raider" and etc).
