Which kinda prompts me to say that Firefox 1.0 (the real thing) is out today. Maybe people experiencing trouble should try it out? Can't say I have yet, but what the hey?

I would actually suggest waiting a bit before getting FF1.0. If nothing else, the extensions and themes would have actually been updated.

So far I'm not noticing much in the way of differences aside from the Find feature, which was gotten worse IMO. Gonna wait a while before I install it on my own comp.

Thanks. I'll have to try it out. Maybe I'll like it better than the version I tested out six months ago.

Urgh. Uninstalling the latest release and going back to the PR. My plug-ins broke. Not all broke but the 'important' work related ones did! Need to do some recoding to get it to work.

I agree that the find feature is a little more bloated but I expected it. Just like IE which was very good became bloated. Just like Netscape becomming the 'communicator', we will end up with Firefox bloated piece of software.

Just like me who sit in front of a computer all day am becoming bloated :P

I suppose I should point out that this thread is about 4chan and Firefox. If you want to have a thread about Firefox in general and how to get the most out of it, then create a new thread in General Chat.

Get back on topic.
