All girls have their charms, no doubt. And so far, all paths I've seen have been quite enjoyable.

However, the storyline that I feel the biggest affinity with - by far - was Utaha's Koisuru Metronome version. It's also the most complex and delicate one... with a bittersweet, slightly painful and wistful atmosphere that I find very engaging. For anyone who doesn't know the story indepth: After reading the fantastic chapter 5, I suggest to reread chapters 1-4. All of a sudden several minor details will make a lot of sense.

Hope we'll get more of this soon!

i just hope that the translator can, to a decent degree, keep the complexities and nuances of Maruto's writing.

This story is very interesting, but Aki gets on my nerves. He is very inconsistent sometimes with his character.

IKR, definitely know some people here and there bitching about that, and also knew some translator who're definitely have a short temper regarding to that

Very true haha, but you can't hate him for it, he is very unique in his own right just very aggravating from time to time. It's what makes him so special.

Are the spin-off mangas entirely 'what if' scenarios or do they follow the novels pretty closely? Koisuru Metronome seems to give off that vibe given there's no mention of making the galge but Egoistic Lily seems possible. On that note, how does the anime measure up to the novels thus far?

not that i do not agree with this but...for me it is also a bit hard to forgive utaha and eriri "betrayal"...at least they admit it themself that it is a betrayal

Betrayal?, why do you think that?

First of all everything was Tomoya's fault, he's just a delusional Otaku who can't even face the girls feelings toward him, run away like a fag every time the girls take the chance to do something with him. Also if you want to say "BETRAYAL" there is only one, when Tomoya said fuck all the hard work of everyone and run to Eriri's house to take care of her meanwhile she was sick, that's the reason why Megumi goes away, that's the reason why Utaha and Eriri thinks that leaving the group is best.

Tomoya needs to grow up and that happens only because Utaha and Eriri set in motion the gears, if they don't Tomoya is going to keep his retarded way of thinking and hurting everyone close to him.
