I think the current king is Lord Keith(leader of aerial knight blonde ones) younger step brother or sister as info mention Keith is illegitimate son of previous king.

Umineko aside, I'm not sure why everyone is facepalming over the episode, I thought it was really cute? I mean yes it was also silly but come on, this is Macross. Freyja is so cute it hurts, it's just a question of time until Mirage starts going dere, and I kind of like Hayate so far. Sure he doesn't have much of a personality and I don't expect him to, but at least he's fun to watch.

(By the way, is it just me or is Mirage->Hayate<-Freyja kind of like a genderswapped Gamlin->Mylene<-(?)Basara, supposing that Basara is not, in fact, guitarsexual/songsexual? The by-the-books soldier and the free spirit following her own way, and all that? ...it's just me? Oh well.

*Ahem* U-Uhm, Mirage is being kinda unfair to Hayate at the start IMO. It's not like he wanted to mess up their operation, hes friend just happened to run straight into a battlefield and thus he was forced to save her. Heck he wasn't trying to fight those Var-Zents he was trying to get away.

Heh, Isamus hand plane sure loves showing up everywhere huh.

Lol that staged attack is so obvious, I mean they drew attention to Freyjas Rune (Run?) and Fold Receptor readings so it would mean they'd want her.

Mirage really needs to step back and analyze the happenings first before jumping to conclusions. Hayate is just touching no harm done.

Their current relationship is reminding me of Misa and Hikaru.

Apparently if you stare at a girl's rune you're a pervert haha That loli queen that appear in the opening, I'm betting she's the one creating the Var Syndrome and that she will be Keith's little half/sister. Hayate is kind of a jerk and Mirage a bit too, and their interaction is not the best but going by the opening that's really going to change and become the new Max and Milia Freyja's last test was messed up, but I guess it's understandable since the members of the group most likely have to go through situations like that very often. Oh and am I the only one that thinks there's another love triangle beginning aside from the main one? Arad- Kaname- Messer maybe? __________________
