It's great to finally have a new episode after a whole year. This episode focused more on the 2 side rivals than on the MC, but it was still entertaining.


After re-watching the previous episodes to remember where we left off, I'm still not liking Diao as much. She really isn't doing much right now beside making commentary at times, and I never really felt for character in general.


Also, I notice that Kyou Kai (Qiang Lei) is so much taller and more beautiful now, in her brief cameo. Shin really needs her back because her combat skills, leadership, and tactical knowledge are invaluable for him.

I'm going to guess that there will be some losses on the Qin side by the time this conflict ends, and some of the heroes of this battle will rise up in rank. I think a best case scenario is that it is draw, where both sides lose a bunch of generals.


Of course, that would still be a win for Qin, as that means they survived the war. Then of course, I expect Li Mu to turn on all the other countries, as they have become weakened and lost important generals, which makes them easy pickings. Right after the war, Qin will be too exhausted and weaken to stage wars against other nations, so Li Mu will use it to his advantage.


Now, I really, really hated the forced kiss scene between Xin and Diao. She really shouldn't be a love interest, and there has been zero, possibly even negative, love development. If there is any romantic love development, it should be with Qiang Lei (Kyou Kai), who is superior to Diao in every single way.


Oh how I miss Qiang Lei so much. She is so much more interesting than Diao.
