The OP is excellent and for now the animation too, but I don't think that the adaptation is for me. You see, I have a very very low tolerance of the drama. I can't stand on a certain level of drama, for that I don't go near of NTR before, even if I'm yurifan. Oh, is a good story, but not for me, not in anime at least. I think that the most is Mei fault but never mind. Pass on this one.

That girl may not be a predator (not sure at this point), but she isn't much better or far off from becoming one. The bullied or the abused becoming a bully or abuser isn't really an improvement. It becomes an unfortunate ladder of misery.
She'll assault someone if lightly provoked. That is dangerous.

Originally, yuri is the one of genres of literature among girls. It's must be the culture of girls, by tthe girls, for the girls. (I'm yuri fundamentalist)
Simply because, otherwise, it is filthy soft lesbian porn for otaku just like Strawberry Panic, Non Non Biyori or something other trashes. So I think male shouldn't interfere in this culture. Watch it secretaly. Do not touch to the research object. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) btw I think it is not lesbianism always but "yuri" is argot because maybe they think it is a secretly/subtlety feelings of border lesbianism between adolescent girls. That's why, this is the secretly culture, even in this SNS era. |

I'd heard good things about this series, but I'm having a couple issues so far. One is the whole consent issue. The other is that many years ago I watched Girl's High, a rather crude anime based on a manga whose creator actually attended an all girl's school. As such I have a bit of a difficult time taking the prim and proper demeanour of the general student body in this series seriously.

Man, since I was following the manga from the beginning, I didn't realize a few major events that spanned in 2 chapters all happened in episode 2. I'd imagined it can be a little overwhelming for first time viewers.
Though I will say, this anime adaptation is continuing to make Yuzu's and Mei's character really pop out more than I imagined. That entire scene in Mei's bedroom was quite something.

Haven't read the manga.
Decide to watch anime due to gorgeous character design. TSo far is Yuzu is an outgoing girl who looks forward for love life. She stumbles on Mei who grows up in a suffocating environment. Mei's father is a traveling business person. He met Yuzu's mother, a convenient store staff(?) Due to her childish good nature, Mei's father entrusts Mei to Yuzu's mother(?) Yuzu and Mei's interaction shows, each time Mei is verbally cornered by Yuzu, Mei becomes aggresive toward Yuzu. Even in public, Mei's hands run all over Yuzu's every part. The show's main bad guy is the teacher, who was engaged to Yuzu(?) Afterward, the main bad guy is Yuzu's grandfather who looks like Japanese Colonel Sanders. |

My understanding is that Mei's non-consensual sexual harassment of Yuzu is an on-going thing in this... and I'm not sure if that sits well with me. It would've been one thing if Mei was just socially ignorant and liked Yuzu from the start, but didn't understand why it wasn't okay. But here, she's completely cognizant and she's using it as a form of manipulation. That honestly makes Mei just as bad or even worse than whoever is manipulating her (the grandfather and/or the teacher).
So, uh... Yeah. Kind of gross, tbh.

it's been faithful to the source so far, so i can't complain much. Yuzu is a bit of an idiot this episode. thinking she can do more than she actually can. that type of character always irritates me, so she doesn't win any points this episode. Haru on the other hand... awesome.

The mother brought a king sized bed instead of two single beds. Is she secretly shipping them?
Mei was stone cold to Yuzu, but I think it's because she really wants a family (wouldn't have gone back to them if she didn't care) and is afraid everything would be ruined if she let things progress further.
