The flick is still running on most theaters, so maybe in a space of six months there should be some DVDs. Indeed, after watching it twice Friedman has given the live-action adaptation high marks (initially). I'll not be surprised if Nozomi/TRSI decides to license this in the near future. By the way, anybody living in-country have some luck going after the promos: http://tokimekimall.jp/category/enta...e/rirrian.html http://tokimekimall.jp/window/1009maria/campaign.html

What I want for Christmas is one of those tapestries they're advertising. The image is from the April 2005 cover of Cobalt and it's probably my second favourite cover illustration after April 2008's happy Touko.

Now that's awesome. But... Good God, more resources... Need extra help translating because these girls might offer some insights in the production or something.

Squeee!
The movie will be released on BD/DVD on July 29th. If I'm reading the text right, the two-disc set will include a Yumi blanket to snuggle in (祐巳のもふもふブランケット - apparently mofumofu means "fluffy").
You know you want one

Gah, mine's been delayed somewhere between the store and the deputy service I'm using - I should have just bought it from Amazon, but I really wanted those postcards... All going well it should ship along with the Hibiki Reine goodies I hope to acquire from this weekend's Comiket.

Checked Okazu today, and Erica explained why: one of her contributors said it was hard to find the discs in stores because retailers ran out of them due to massive pre-orders (WTH? But that's astonishing!). However, the discs are still available for sale and in stock on Amazon JP.

Massive pre-orders, eh? Wow, that explains why I haven't found it anywhere yet. *sigh* If only the DVD/BD comes with English subs, I would buy it on the spot no matter the cost. Sadly, I can't speak Japanese at all (I can only understand when I hear little bits of words and phrases) and if ever I will buy either the DVD/BD, I would have to ask someone to translate it for me. >.<
