20 years came up a few times as well. The butler was hired 20 years ago. The Lord hadn't had blood in 20 years. And the wife died with a smile on her face... Maybe it was payback or revenge? And what's with the holy water?

I don't know who done it... but I'm excited to find out!

So there first case is a vampire mystery and Aya all ready making Tsugaru do weird things

So even supernatural beings get freaked out by Aya

I'm not sure I'm feeling the banter between the leads and the episode literally put me to sleep. This might be a drop.

20 years ago, the wife and butler were a couple, but the vampire turned her and took her for himself. And now, she broke the lock to the storage room to help him kill her? Maybe, but why now?

I'm just a little irked because if you're going to do historical fiction in a Victorian city why always fall back on Sherlock? I know one of the most popular stories ever but come on and even I like it but something different place.

Ep 2 of this was very good! If you're going a show heavily that relies on dialogue, mystery & misdirection you need have your framing and scene direction up snuff to make things still feel in engaging. The banter between Tsugaro and Aya is just delightful stuff as a result.
