Checked the first episode pre-air. It is a bit different from what I expected but I like it.

Also, animatos already spoil the main twist but they try to make it sort of blink-and-miss.

Cute girls doing spy things? Episode 1 seemed promising enough.

This felt like a mix of Assassination Classroom and Princess Principal. Will stay for the amazing cast.

The first episode feels like Lycoris Recoil. Passionate girls who enjoy life got involved with cool girls who are indifferent to anything. They are enrolled in the cram school because they are last rank in their classes.

I wasn't sure in the early going. The first part wasn't really grabbing me that much.

But the boat confrontation definitely elevated the show into being a bit more interesting. Managed to mix a good bit of hilarity in with the deadly serious situation. The Teacher just giving a calm explanation of how screwed they were if Lily didn't get to rowing like a maniac . That was the kind of stupid fun that I needed from this episode.

Plus it just sets things up pretty well. Each character will have a personal quirk or condition that they can use to maximize their abilities. Even if they can't be taught in any normal way, that doesn't mean they can't improve.

Honestly I agree with the conclusion. The best option available is to have them try to surpass their teacher. Honestly it is the only good option they have to work with. Or at least it's the best chance they've got.

Respect as well to Lily. She took immediate action for the sake of protecting her life and the rest as well. It didn't work out and she did mess up a few times. But in the end I can definitely respect her effort and guts. Fair choice to make her team leader. She took the initiative here.

I enjoyed the first episode. A group of young people honing assassination techniques to surpass their mentor reminds me of Assassination Classroom.

Like the rest I wasn't really feeling it through the first half but then that boat sequence hit and yeah, sold. It helps that the girls are quite the sight to behold as well. Character designs are top notch.

I wonder if anyone of you spotted the *spoiler* during the last scene (maybe during the Claus introdution to the girls also, but I have not checked).

tried Spy Kyoushitsu, because thought it might be similar to Princess Principal - an anime which I enjoyed watching.

dropped, this is not really my kind of show.

first drop for this year.

Oh! I didn't even notice but rewatching that final scene the numbers don't seem to add up.

Also, they clearly know what people want with angles like these

This was pretty mediocre. I'll stick around for one more episode, but it really was no comparison to, say, Princess Principal.

but i am interested finding out what each girl's specialty is, and what their catchphrase is.
