Hahaha lol~
I thought only Koharu the protagonist who played around in the past Since Female MC in seinen story tends to be this type, while the other 2 "rivals" are completely devoted to the "main guy" But despite the rivals being so much better, the protagonist, Koharu will win in the end despite all her shortcomings Standard shoujo/josei trope Ah, I need to remind people that the "protagonist" is Koharu, not Date Just like Sacred Blacksmith's protagonist is Cecil and not Luke

If even one of the women is not satisfied with the monogamy expected of her within the Hare-kon arrangement some of the readers rage. Brilliant.
Both Madoka and Koharu, for some unfathomable reason, seem to genuinely love Ryu, but unlike Yuzu they both seem to prefer ending the multiple-wives arrangement and the other women in his life to go away - to be able to enter an exclusive, monogamous relationship with him. The way Ryu seems to prefer the women to pledge exclusivity to him. Is there an equivalent Hare-kon system for women, to marry more than one man within this manga’s universe? If so, it is getting relatively little coverage. Otherwise Yuzu has no real option but to date her other lover to have sex with him on the side and Ryu should be open to that, with shared custody of the eventual offspring. The species is being preserved so the purpose, the Government’s goals, for the Hare-kon for the population at large are satisfied with Yuzu’s pregnancy, Who the father is, the paternity issue, is irrelevant if declining population numbers is the main concern behind legalising such arrangements as depicted. An arrangement into which Koharu was coerced with a guilt trip over financial burdens not even her own. |

^And here we go again with your out of context comments pointing things that aren't even related to the discussion...
Nobody here is raging about an expected monogamy from the girls, the problem isn't the presence of that in Hare Kon, is how the author introduced that in the story. Madoka's situation was placed without any kind of background to support the idea of the divorce, and even when Ryu did everything he needed to get Madoka back the situation didn't changed, and he decided on his own to set her free because it was the best. Yuzu's issue is exactly the same shit, but this time hits harder because Yuzu was one of the characters that moved the gears in this story and one of the most loyal to Ryu. The author didn't needed to use the NTR card this time. The author of Hare Kon usually works around these type of themes, the problem sometimes is the execution of them. |

She shouldnt made the title harekon from the start .. it looks like she did it just to attract readers hahaha.. well im officially dropping this one .. not because of the story and the manga but because the author looks like she has an issue with her life( not insulting her) ..

This. Is. SEINEN!!!!! *bonks everyone in the head*
No shit stuff like this happens. If Shounen is for idealized 2d fantasies then Seinen is for hyper tragic real life "drama" for dudes that like NTR and "dirty old man" hentai. God I love Seinen, shit always gets real right when you think you're safe.

^Parasyte is Seinen and you don't see shit like this
Don't generalize Seinen like that It's all to make Koharu looks good Since Koharu is a choroin but annoying as hell They need to make the others worse

I suppose Koharu herself isn't the pure one. She was in contact with dozens of married mens (if I remember correctly)
I don't know why author had to remember Yuzu's past at this point of this manga. She(?) want to make a drama?

But you're more likely to see shit like this with Seinen. Even Parasyte had it's dark moments, though they were dark in a different sense. Honestly I got bored with this story a while ago I just read the last few chapters and am glad I dropped it. Personally I don't like useless exposition like this.
