Once Hoshino and Yuuma were knocked out I was almost cheering for Shimon to pull out the win. Didn't feel like Try Fighters deserved to win with how two of the members let themselves be taken out like that. Yuuma had his chance before he went out of bounds and Hoshino should have divided Winning the moment she saw what happened to Yuuma there was still time for it.
I mean sure it allowed for a 1v1 fight, but still didn't love the way 2/3s of the team got knocked out. The fight itself was great though. Liked pure straight fight with Destiny against Build Burning. Nice to see what great skills can do. It was a good chance to show what Sekai and Shimon could do. Instead of just one punch or style, Sekai really had to be flexible and use a variety of moves in order to come out on top. I figured once they started losing use of one arm that Sekai had it. As a Boxer his opponent's style was going to get more limited as they went along while Sekai could just kick him to submission. Good with for Sekai who went in there and gave his all. Winning isn't going to save this kid any more than losing will kill him. It's a sad thing to have that kind of worry though. But in the end who knows what the future will bring. Yuuma gets run over by one of those crazy anime buses and you don't get to fight next year.

Sleggar Law-expy in a customized G Amor ..... guess all MA will be wary of his Kamikaze attack lolz ( Hitting below the belt )
The fight between the Destiny and Burning great , no holds barred fight ( GBF started with Amazing Zaku VS Build Strike if my memory server me right ) Last edited by kaizerknight01; 2014-11-19 at 10:48. |

To be fair it's not until compilation and Remaster we got explicit sex scene, and the kid seems to be within acceptable margin (7+) compared to Sei
It's not like they're watching Yosuga no sora either.

We finally got the answer to the question of what team free does when there is no water. They self destruct
It was nice to see the team reflect on being put in that type of situation and it was even better that Sekai confronted the problem head on. He made a formal declaration to them and knew a lie wouldn't help anyone. I really am not a fan of how Fumina and Yuuma were taken out in sucide attacks especially since they had the chance to retaliate. That being said the actual fight between Sekai and Shimon was great though and is the best so far. The best so far imo and I hope people are finally happy that it did not end with a punch but with a knee. Really liked the OST this episode. Next week looks like Gyanko is in trouble.

Agh I was cheering for Shimon so hard while fanboying over Destiny, sad they couldnt win and sad there wasnt much focus on Shimon, but it was a good episode
the suicide dives reallyy made sense because the other teams were obviously more skilled. And besides these are kids, who the hell wouldn't feel about about a child's dream and hesitate? Hope we get more of Shimon soon

Wow team Free! got trolled hard with the tundra field
i wonder was that Sunrise making deliberate fun of that anime it was nice seeing Destiny despite me never finishing the Anime (wait did it every had a broadsword like that, i don't remember), but i wish they used more Gundam 00 mechs because that the only series i finish and remember most the gundam names i wonder if Shimon will have a role later on in the series. |

I'm quite disappointed with this fight. I don't know if it's because of Shimon's boxing background, but he allowed Sekai to determine the battle and didn't use the Destiny as well as he could. He was more impressive in the first fight.
That said, I don't know why Shimon's partners were more concerned about Team Try Fighters. That just seems like a convenient plot device to make Sekai meet Mamoru. I'm glad Yuuma wasn't openly critical of Sekai this episode. I really think he needs to just get over that and start showing his best. |

I thought it was a cool badass rival fight between Shimon and Sekai, something that we didn't have yet on the level of Mao or Fellini from last season. Sekai doesn't work well with the kind of battle last week, but a straight up battle of conviction is something that he is in his elements, something that Yuuma and Hoshino don't quite have the fortitude for.
And yeah, definitely makes up for Seed Destiny's meh battle of Destiny.... That ost man... About Team Free... What was your plan dude ?
