Gunpla Shingyo isn't really a school about personality though, it's a school about Gunpla. In this case, Sakai maybe a bit of a jerkass, but he does have both the building skill and the fighting skill to prove that he is a disciple of the Gunpla Shingyo school.

Uh, I don't think that was a simple SD Shining or Burning Gundam, but more along the special SD line - like SD BB Senshi Sangokuden.

This was an enjoyable episode for me. For some reason Sakai rubs me the wrong way though. Way too arrogant for my taste.

They do name the two SD's they used this episode: Sekai used the SD Musha Godmaru (based off God Gundam), and Minato used the SD Kouki (based off the NT-1 Alex).

Not only Sekai was beaten, his first Gunpla he build is in pieces now.
Yuuma thinks Sakai's artistic build Gunpla might be better than his and Sakai got him a bad mood because he became Yuuma's replacement for G Muse's Gunpla builder.

Here I'm just thinking we haven't heard anyone else together with Sakai that belongs to the Gunpla Shingyo school and we had only known the one student in Chinan's time to be Mao. I wonder if he would have the school expanded by now if he became the master, since the format will require a team of 3 to compete in the tournament. Oh yeah the guy with the Destiny sitting on top the jungle gym was alone too, though he did mention another person named "Mamoru".

honestly, is Sakai even human? he built the damn SD kit, applying stickers & all but probably missing paint apps in just micro seconds of time frame, all while projecting glowing energy which not sure has to do with him having power to manipulate Plavsky particles at will unlike Sekai or the Arian people like Reiji, might be just a visual over exaggeration
