Did he give Issei time to recover in the LN? From what I remember reading it seemd like he was being chased practically non stop and even surprise attacks when sleeping.

Now of course he let off at times to let him sleep and eat and so on, but still pretty sure it wasn't a standard, train for 2 hours, get a 2 hour break, ect. Tannin terrorized him whenever and whenever and didn't care about Issei's stamina, rest, ect.

Yeah, the gathering wasn't really any different from the novels other than, if I recall, it happening before the training.

Honestly not a bad episode at all. The only real downside was the banquet at the end where random people were in dresses and others in super casual clothes. Though I guess Issei and Saji were shown to wear their school uniforms in the novel, it feels out of place nonetheless.

Because when he was first introduced in the LN, he was introduced guarding Odin and just happened to come across Akeno and Issei on their date, which caused Akeno to go from a pleasant mood to an infuriated one, thus walking off after yelling with him somewhat and making Issei confused.

With this, it just sort of felt like 'Here, here's this random person who you've never met before training Akeno whom seems to hate him in return for whatever reason. Oops! Okay, enough time, on to the next person!'

Just feel like if you're going to introduce a character that has conflict with one of the main characters, they need more than five seconds to really show that conflict.

So, I just watched the Funi Sub and I still don't know what that thing Ravel gave to Ise is. Am I retarded or they really didn't say what it is?

It baffles me as to how they got Sairaorg and Zephyrdor right but not Venelana.

The problem is very few of the things that have been posted are spoilers because the episode has already aired. the other thing is 90% of the people are novel readers at this point so there's not much worrying about anybody missing anything

Doesn't matter. The mods have and will ban people for less than what you and the others are saying outside of spoiler tags. I'm speaking from experience on that.

People are overreacting, the pacing is a bit off, but the scenes removed are negligible, we can get to the good stuff fast instead on wasting 1 chapter in training and another in a party which was only important in order to introduce people.

The declarations in the party can be said next chapter no problem.

Exactly. There's a thread in the novel section for comments about the novels beyond what's already aired. And it really takes very little effort to not mention future events.

Just watch the episode and wow I didn't thought Baraqiel would show up, Also Koneko with cat ears & tail looks so cute.

Good thing they didn't skip Ravel talking to Ise.
