I don't see why not. The King has the slowest movement, next to the Pawn, but at the the Pawn can at least move two spaces forward. Lelouch can't even outrun Milly in a dress. The King also has the smallest attack range next to the Pawn.

I would say that Lulu found himself on the chessboard. At the beginning, he was the player, seemingly immune to the events on the board. Now, like it or not, he's the King, playing for the game of his life.

However, unlike any piece but the Queen, within that small range, it can do anything, making it a threat even to rooks. This fits Lelouch and the power and limitations of his Geass.

rolo is the knight
funny movements and the only piece that can jump over and around other pieces in one turn (did it to kallen and urabe in ep 2)

Good thought. That is like the movement of a Knight

Exactly.

Dudes, someone has to create code geass themed chess (if not already created).

The Theme would be the Black Knights vs Brittania/ The Holy Empire (whichever one ends up working since the OotBK now is the whole word excluding brittannia).

The main question would be, if lelouch/the emperor are the kings or the players since the Emperor doesn't act like a emperor but the opponent whilst lelouch actually commander of the Black Knights. The emperor doesn't really do much for the battlefront as Schzneizal talked about in episode....18? 17? Yeah i think 18.

THEN the next decision would be if the pieces would be the actuall character or the Knightmare Frame the character piloted. What would Loyd/Rakshata be?

Or, simply make Code Geass the board game, and give more realistic proportions to movement and attack, but that has to be too drastic. (If anyone is skilled in metal, i command you to create little metal miniatures of each individual character and show me).

Well, you know someone somewhere will make a chess board based upon the ones in Code Geass. Hell, I know I would like one. The pieces look cool.

If Lelouch is the Black king, sayoko is a Black castle/rook
ninja move+ can rook with the king

the best ll be chibis knightmares for the pawns
and characters for the others pieces

like :
lelouch/kallen Black King/Queen
Rollo/Xingke(or Jeremiah) Black Knight
CC/ Diethard Black Bishop
Sayoko/Todoo Black Castle
Chibis Burai or Akatsuki Black Pawns

Schneizel/Cornellia White King/queen
Guilford/Darlton White Knight
Euphemia/Nina (the false and the true psycho ) White Bishop (or Luciano seems good too)
Suzaku/Gino White Castle
Chibis Glasgow or Sutherland White Pawns

and with the limited edition you have a chessclock Emperor Charles

That would be fitting.

If you want to follow the theme of chess it all works out. It's undeniable that chess is a major theme in this series. The episodes are even called Turns. Everyone has their roles to play. Lelouch has always played the part of the Black King. Notice how every time he plays chess he's Black. Last episode Schneizel was holding out the White King piece.
If this last battle follows the rules of chess that means Schneizel(white) moves first.
Kallen has always proven herself as Lelouch's Black Queen. She's his most powerful and loyal fighter. Just like in chess. She's always proven in that role. From the beginning she has even gone by the code name Q-1. He selected her as his personal bodyguard.
Ever since episode two and Kallen's first battle with Lelouch. She's always been the Queen. She's guarded him and brought victories to his forces. All the duties of the Queen on the chess board.
It would seem odd for her role to suddenly change just as the last great match is about to begin these last three weeks.
