Well, it has been expected with Bleach. Money is the only important factor now, although I give them credit for trying to make coherent stories out of the filler.

Third season in Decemember? I wasn't aware that Bleach was divided into seasons. Can someone please clarify when the second season began? Is that an official dividing point, or just something that some fan invented?

First season ended right before the Byakuya/Renji fight. I think that's when the OP/ED songs changed as well.

I actually thought the other Bleach fillers were okay. Personally, I like this Bound arc. However I can't wait to see Kenpachi back in action when they continue with the proper storyline. He's awesome.

Indeed.
Who's to say that Kenpachi won't fight sooner though?

Wait a minute I thought we were currently residing on the fourth season not the third. I was under the impression that the third season had ended after about where the introduction to the Bounto was and the fourth began with the battle against the Bounto already underway. Am I wrong?

Nope, we're still on the second season.

can they really drag this out for a long time? cause hopefully im not giving any spoilers here but the progression of the manga line isnt a great timelength apart. the ending of the SS arc almost goes straight into the next part with no time jump or anything really.

at least when naruto filler hit they have the 3 year timeskip to fill with nonsensical BS

Why won't they drag this out for a long time, now that they've established a fanbase that they could manipulate and hang like puppets on strings? Naruto still has a relatively large fanbase despite its long filler arcs, right?

I know they're pulling all of my strings, and I'm pretty sure there's plenty of others like me. It won't hurt to do a few more months of "anime original episodes" to them.

Alright, I've gone through four months worth of MOON PHASE news items looking for the word Bleach, but I haven't turned up anything other than news on the rock musical, Bleach Soul Sonic 2006, and the new game. Then I went through MOON PHASE's diary and turned up even less.
The only thing I can think of is that the announcement for the Bleach movie was for December of this year. Could the original person who started the rumor have gotten confused?

But according to Omni, it probably will doing a few more years of it, especially if these 'original anime' episodes aren't of the same caliber as the story coming from the manga. xD

I believe the suggestions of some who mentioned that Pierrot do a Fumoffu are very cogent and rational. Why can't they simply look at an anime that has lasted for at least three seasons while still maintaining quality and class, like FMP!?

I definitely agree - doing a Fumoffu, or fleshing out the more minor characters without going ahead of the manga too much is quite advisable. It's definitely better than recycle a plot again and again, as what a lot have been pointing out.

No. Story arcs do not equal seasons. One season is chronologically ~13 weekly based episodes. You do the math.

I didn't say story arcs equal seasons. Season 2 started with the Byakuya/Renji battle(ep52), and that was still in the SS arc.
