It's amazing how many you can collect in a couple of years when you have a mind to read extensively! Now the shelves are ready to collapse... but here goes :
  1. Oh My Goddess! .... just beautifully drawn, 'creates a warm and fuzzy feeling' ?.. yes, I'd go with that...
  2. Full Metal Panic - great stuff, even if you've seen the Anime first.
  3. Azumanga Daioh - Hiliarious, despite some oddities in the localisation (as to be expected really). Lasts longer than most IMO.
  4. Chobits - It's CLAMP, It's Chi... need I say more?
  5. Wish - I think CLAMP has made a lasting impression
I'm sure this list will be kicked and bent out of all proportion when more materiel is added to the reportoire....

I think I need to make two lists- one for manga I have read completely, and for ones that are only partially finished for whatever reason. As we all know, sometimes manga can end unsatisfactorily, and that often spoils it for me.

no order:

Completed:
1. River's Edge
2. Kodomo no Omocha
3. Hikaru no Go (I really like HnG, as long as I only read to volume 18 and pretend that that is the ending. Though I do like seeing full blown bishie versions of Hikaru ^_^)
4. Living Game
5. Mai the Psychic Girl

Partial:
1. 20th Century Boys
2. Glass Mask [This is an oldie (80's), currently scanned by Mangasync. It's actually really engrossing so far, following the progression of a girl who loves to act. Shoujo fare, for all you who don't realize. And it averages in at a whopping 40 ish volumes. Well, not as long as Hajime no Ippo, at least (HnI is damn good as well)]
3. Monster (what can I say, I just like Urasawa)
4. Blade of the Immortal
* I also like Nana so far, but I've only read 2 volumes. I just ordered chinese versions of volumes 1-9, so we'll see how much I like it after I read all those volumes.

I missed a thread about favourite Manga! Shame on me!
  1. Narutaru: You could have guessed it by now, right? The blend of a dark theme with a great artwork is just perfect. Loved the ending (Hi tsurumaru.) it was just perfect, despise the plot holes and the "Let's kill all" feeling. A great manga.
  2. Assobot Goku: I don't know if this manga is any famous over the Us or Japan, but I like it! The ^n version of the Saiyuki in a post apocalyptic world, with Goku as a robot and Sanzo as a... Hacker with a "flute"? :D Amazing artwork (Gotta love Mion) and interesting character with a nice blend of comedy/seriousness. Another great manga.
  3. Tenjo Tenge: Put a pen inside Ogure Ito's hands, and he will create the best manga of all the time, regardless of the plot and characters. Still running in Japan, Tenjo Tenge is just the peak of ecchi school/fighting with a breathtaking artwork.
  4. Majin -Devil-: Ogure Ito strikes again. Awesome^2 Artwork.
  5. Kudanshi: Just started on Kodansha IT, impressive artwork and interesting plot so far. It's a combination of .hack//Sing without the bloody long dialogues and lots of blood and fighting. The Parabellum is just a cruel place..
