It's the episodes that dont just focus on the fighting that make the show so good. Ep 30 was a great example of that. Not only do they serve as character development but they show a side of the characters that most other fighting animes never get into.

Too bad the lizard got sent back he was pretty cool.

Are you saying that those episodes weren't in the manga?!? That's a little shocking because I usually hate filler episodes, but I really liked The Mystery of the Mirror arc. (I was fortunate enough to see an advance fansub of it.) What does "Makyou hen" mean?

We changed the first part of the title for ep 31 to "The Story of of the Demonic Mirror"

Since the "hen" means literally "part of a story"
It's often used in Japanese to name story arcs, or sub parts.

The other word refers to the Demonic Mirror

Yeah.....ep 31 is pretty much the worst, it has the worst idea for a demon EVER. I mean come on! You know whoever thought of that demon must have been looking around his/her desk for ideas.

True, I found it weird that the demon was a normal pair of scissors and paste and then just transformed. But at least we got an opputunity to see Jikerudo in action again!

What really excited me though was the new ending!!! YAY! I've been waiting for a new intro/outro for so long now! And there are so many clues in it too! Reminds me of the massive spoilers in Gundam Seed intros/outros. So let's speculate on a few things:


1) Tio gets her very own Vulcan 300!!! The name on the box is "Barunrun"...I wonder if that translates into anything? (The baru part is the first two characters of Vulcan...)

2) There is a shot of Vulcan 300 v1, v2, and v3 together! Priceless nostalgia!

3) I suspected earlier that Mizuno would become Umagon's bookkeeper, and three various shots in the ending support that theory strongly.

4) I was suprised to see Brago and Sherie in the group shot at the end. I knew they weren't necessarily evil, but I didn't think they'd ever consider a truce with any other demons/bookkeepers.


I haven't watched ahead so I can't say anything about this upcoming arc, but hey at least its short! I haven't been disappointed by it yet anyway. Thanks for bringing us two episodes in two days, "maru de yume mitai"

I think that this Arc looks interesting...

I didn't like the idea behind the Gluestick guy much, but I thought that he was handled fairly well for what he is.

Not sure if I like Shion or not, gonna wait till I've seen her in a couple more eps before I judge... I Really like that kitten guy though :3

I didnt check this but did it come from the Demon Grand Prix contest that is going on for the manga? Somehow, it kinda feels like those were all fan created.

A lot of the images in the new ed are taken from the one shot drawings on the manga covers/flaps and chapter title pages. Therefore, a lot of these do not appear anywhere else.
