And for someone who seemingly was in the pro-Nea faction, Cross sure was acting pro-Earl.

The flash back raised more questions rather than answering.
But I really have this bad feeling we are already in the route of "Allen's memory is fabricated by Apocrypha".

I always thought everything at some point was Apocrhyphos' mind fuckery because that was the very first power IT showed upon being introduced to the story.

Which turns Allen's part of his past from his POV as a story with unreliable narrator.

This might be because, at this point, he didn't know this shota Allen is the same Allen hosting the 14th.
If he doesn't have Nea, I am pretty sure he wants Mana available.

I agree Allen's memories of killing Mana and asking the Earl to revive him were definitely fabricated to make him hate the Earl. There's one thing that needs an explanation if that's the case though: how he got his special eye. I guess Apocryphos could have given it to him, but that's too easy an explanation.

Regarding chapter 245, could you clarify for me, is it confirmed that Allen is the "Heart" or that the "Heart" plans to use Allen (as a decoy or guardian) in some way?.

I guess Saying Goodbye to AW is almost over, and damn if isn't sad.
The trauma was so hard RED gave up his true self and became the sweet Allen we know, for the sake of Mana.

It was never stated why, with 3-4chapters with 15-20pages each the story did not progress anywhere in last 2-3years. Hoshino should seriously hire an assistant to help her with the story, get back on 1ch per month or at leas bi-monthly so 6chapters per year and finish the story before she gets too old, too sick to draw. I can gladly sacrafice art for content.

do you guys even remember when it was 1ch per week, story moved fast, even when it went 1ch per month it was still acceptable but man 3months for 1chapter and in few cases even with 3months gap she was not able to finish it and so we had to wait 6months for 1chapter.

I was looking around on some still alive DGM groups and read something that passed over my head back them.
When Lenalee's dark boots and Kanda's Mugen turned into cubes both turned into liquid when the former touched them with her own hands.
