Yuuno gave Miyuki a flat look as he walked out the training field with her right behind him. "I told you, I'm not calling it that."

"Well, at least make sure the name has "Driver" in it, no Kamen Rider would be caught dead without having a Driver." She giggled at the way he groaned. "Come on, it's gotta have a cool name at least. Maybe something with fire?"

Yuuno grimaced slightly, he had thought that himself, but if he thought about it, it was a bit... Off. His device really wasn't meant for using his Holy power, he thought it was so that he could use his normal spells while using his Holy magic. 'I could be wrong though.' He thought to himself. "A name, huh?"

Miyuki looked at Yuuno and took a step back as his body seemed to light up, his device suddenly beeping as it came online. "Yuuno?"

"Your new name is... George."

"George?" Miyuki and the Device said at the same time, getting a laugh from Yuuno.

"Nah, I was joking, I'm thinking Thoth for you, what do you think?" He looked at his device, who bleeped a few times.

"Thoth Driver, accepted."

"Wait, what?" Yuuno's eyes went white as he looked at it. "Why would you come up with THAT?!"

"Make sure the name has Driver in it, no Kamen Rider would be caught dead without having a Driver." The device spoke in a perfect mimicry of Miyuki's voice. "It's gotta have a cool name at least."

Yuuno sweat-dropped and gave Miyuki a flat look. "Thoth Driver, huh?" Well, he could live with that.

"Now we just need to work on your poses and speeches when you make dramatic points and..." She laughed at his expression. "Oh come on, I'm just teasing. I wouldn't make you do that unless you wanted to."

"Sometimes I wonder..." Yuuno rubbed his forehead, recalling what happened a few weeks ago when Lina borrowed Graf Eisen. "Lina's gone crazy since she got pregnant."

Miyuki sweat-dropped, recalling her mom's crazed look as she tried to make wood turn into light before giving the hammer back to Vita and wondering if there was any chocolate. "To be fair, she was worse last time she was pregnant."

"Remember how she wanted Fate to do a "Fate Kick" when Fate and Nanoha were sparring?"

Miyuki sweat-dropped and nodded. "In the future, we keep mom from watching anime when she's pregnant." Yuuno nodded and quickly ran to the training field.

Watching him go, Miyuki shook her head. "Damn, he's starting to really fill out." She couldn't imagine what he'd look like when the training was done.

Fate stared at the large man as she gripped Bardiche. "Are you sure?"

He nodded as he held his spear to the side. "I'd like to see your full power in this spar." He wanted to know why Mizetto asked for him, Quint and Megane specifically to spar with these kids this afternoon. One thing he did find interesting was the fact that several powerful barriers had gone up shortly after that Yuuno kid had gotten back to the training field.

"Bardiche, Rubin Blitz Mode."

"Yes sir."

Zest raised an eyebrow as the young girl's black body suit seemed to almost come undone, before solidifying and hardening, around her arms and legs was bright red metal that looked pretty flexible. Her neck up to her jaw line was covered in the same red metal, her hair was in that familiar twin ponytail design and her device she had shifted from a pole-arm weapon into a thin, hand-sized sword. "Interesting, I heard that you preferred larger swords."

"I do." Fate said softly, her body glowing yellow. "But for the speeds I'm moving, it would likely rip my arms off."

Zest nodded and swung his spear to the side. 'Alright, let's see if this is as good as she made it out to be.' He thought to himself and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Böe-Modus."

Fate's eyes widened as Zest's brown jacket, pants, gloves and boots were all suddenly changed to a silver color, even his spear seemed to dull and turn gray.

"Interesting." Zest muttered and tapped his arm. "I don't feel any heavier, but this is metal." He then looked at her. "Very well then, come at me with everything you've got."

She nodded. "Right!" The next instant, she disappeared and Zest took a step forward as he felt a powerful blow to his back. He caught a glimpse of her before she disappeared again, this time striking his front, then his sides, and even his legs, each one was strong enough to have him stumble slightly.

"Impressive." He muttered before swinging his spear straight up. An instant later, Fate's form materialized in front of him as the young girl grit her teeth as she tried to cut him again. "You're good with that speed, but you waste a lot of movement. When you're that fast, you should only strike a couple of times to get them off balance, before going in and striking your enemy down before they can recover."

Fate's eyes widened as Zest put a little more effort into his swing and sliced right through the magical blade, missing Fate's face by mere centimeters. Flying back, she narrowed her eyes and called up several smaller spells, launching them at him and causing an explosion before disappearing from sight again.

"Not bad." Zest muttered as the smoke cleared. Other than some singe marks on his armor, he was completely unharmed. He took a step forward, only to stop as he felt a bind around his leg. "What?" There were four yellow magic circles around his body and, when he looked up, one above him.

"Plasma... Rage... FALL!" Fate called out as she reappeared above the one in the air.

Each circle let out a powerful yellow blast of lightning that slammed into Zest's body with tremendous force.

"Did I over-do it?" Fate asked when the spell abated, only to gasp as she found Zest's fist in her gut, causing her to gasp hard as she was punched away from him.

"Never forget that I still have barriers, girl." Zest pointed out, not looking the least worse for wear. Even if he looked in good condition, he knew that he would have still been on the ground if it hadn't been for this new armor mode. He still felt concussive forces and even that last spell was strong enough that with his barriers and the armor, he actually was slightly hurt by it.

Floating in mid-air, Fate grabbed her sore belly and nodded. That punch really hurt. If she was in her Sonic Form, she probably would have been beaten right then and there.

"You're fast, girl." Zest charged her, slashing through where she had been a moment ago before she disappeared. Zest couldn't even see her, but he was starting to figure out her patterns when she fought. He threw up his left hand and created a barrier that blocked Fate's fireball. "Interesting, you have a neat style."

On the ground, Fate materialized and started panting softly. She looked at Bardiche and grimaced, the blade was nothing more than a 2 cm stump off the hilt now. "Sorry, Bardiche."

"No problem."

Fate looked up and snapped her fingers. "Aqua Create." When Zest looked around in confusion, she smiled. "Dunno if this will work, but.. Dolph Zork!" Her eyes widened as several water torpedoes rushed at Zest. "Alright, now... Photon Raging Bolt!"

As the yellow bolts rushed with the water torpedoes towards him, she clapped her hands together. "Plasma... SMASHER!" A large yellow beam collided with Zest's unmoving form, exploding and Fate fell to a knee, panting. "I... I hope he's okay." She chuckled nervously and looked up and stared as the smoke cleared to reveal Zest, unharmed, though his armor was dirty and he was smoking.

"Very impressive." He nodded, both to the girl and to his armor. This was what he wanted to test after all. Still...

Fate's eyes widened as he appeared right in front of her and knocked her onto her back, pointing the tip of his spear at her. "You did good, you need some work with your technique, but you did good."

Fate smiled softly before her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she flopped down, unconscious, a moment later, her armor dissolved, leaving her in her civilian clothes.

Zest stared for a second before pulling up a vid screen and calling the infirmary. He didn't know what happened to her.

He suspected that Mary might have known for some reason.

I am fairly sure I could enjoy a fight like that one, Nietono no Shana VS Levantein eh? sounds interesting for sure.

That was pretty cool, Zest's new armour mode certainly makes for an eccelent defence doesn't it? Although the uniform gray colour might be just a trifle boring, I wonder if he could spray paint it.

Specially because both are prideful, flaming, swordswomen who takes their job pretty seriously. Also both wear a stoic facade(the only difference is that Shana is a Tsundere while Signum is a Kuudere xD).

Of course the fic must be placed bafore Shana's power up. Having the raw power to kill physical gods seems to be a pretty unfair advantage xDU.

He can but the paint will probably fall out of the armour when he unleashes his true power. An interesting chapter, wonder is you take account of Zest's amazing "instant aproach strike"(i don't know the official name) move, you know, the one he uses to take down Vita cracking Graf Eisen in the process. I think it can be a pretty useful option against speedsters.

"Sometimes I wonder..." Yuuno rubbed his forehead, recalling what happened a few weeks ago when Lina borrowed Graf Eisen. "Lina's gone crazy since she got pregnant."

Miyuki sweat-dropped, recalling her mom's crazed look as she tried to make wood turn into light before giving the hammer back to Vita and wondering if there was any chocolate. "To be fair, she was worse last time she was pregnant."

"Remember how she wanted Fate to do a "Fate Kick" when Fate and Nanoha were sparring?"

Miyuki sweat-dropped and nodded. "In the future, we keep mom from watching anime when she's pregnant." Yuuno nodded and quickly ran to the training field.

Watching him go, Miyuki shook her head. "Damn, he's starting to really fill out." She couldn't imagine what he'd look like when the training was done.

Fate stared at the large man as she gripped Bardiche. "Are you sure?"

He nodded as he held his spear to the side. "I'd like to see your full power in this spar." He wanted to know why Mizetto asked for him, Quint and Megane specifically to spar with these kids this afternoon. One thing he did find interesting was the fact that several powerful barriers had gone up shortly after that Yuuno kid had gotten back to the training field.

"Bardiche, Rubin Blitz Mode."

"Yes sir."

Zest raised an eyebrow as the young girl's black body suit seemed to almost come undone, before solidifying and hardening, around her arms and legs was bright red metal that looked pretty flexible. Her neck up to her jaw line was covered in the same red metal, her hair was in that familiar twin ponytail design and her device she had shifted from a pole-arm weapon into a thin, hand-sized sword. "Interesting, I heard that you preferred larger swords."

"I do." Fate said softly, her body glowing yellow. "But for the speeds I'm moving, it would likely rip my arms off."

Zest nodded and swung his spear to the side. 'Alright, let's see if this is as good as she made it out to be.' He thought to himself and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Böe-Modus."

Fate's eyes widened as Zest's brown jacket, pants, gloves and boots were all suddenly changed to a silver color, even his spear seemed to dull and turn gray.

"Interesting." Zest muttered and tapped his arm. "I don't feel any heavier, but this is metal." He then looked at her. "Very well then, come at me with everything you've got."

She nodded. "Right!" The next instant, she disappeared and Zest took a step forward as he felt a powerful blow to his back. He caught a glimpse of her before she disappeared again, this time striking his front, then his sides, and even his legs, each one was strong enough to have him stumble slightly.

"Impressive." He muttered before swinging his spear straight up. An instant later, Fate's form materialized in front of him as the young girl grit her teeth as she tried to cut him again. "You're good with that speed, but you waste a lot of movement. When you're that fast, you should only strike a couple of times to get them off balance, before going in and striking your enemy down before they can recover."

Fate's eyes widened as Zest put a little more effort into his swing and sliced right through the magical blade, missing Fate's face by mere centimeters. Flying back, she narrowed her eyes and called up several smaller spells, launching them at him and causing an explosion before disappearing from sight again.

"Not bad." Zest muttered as the smoke cleared. Other than some singe marks on his armor, he was completely unharmed. He took a step forward, only to stop as he felt a bind around his leg. "What?" There were four yellow magic circles around his body and, when he looked up, one above him.

"Plasma... Rage... FALL!" Fate called out as she reappeared above the one in the air.

Each circle let out a powerful yellow blast of lightning that slammed into Zest's body with tremendous force.

"Did I over-do it?" Fate asked when the spell abated, only to gasp as she found Zest's fist in her gut, causing her to gasp hard as she was punched away from him.

"Never forget that I still have barriers, girl." Zest pointed out, not looking the least worse for wear. Even if he looked in good condition, he knew that he would have still been on the ground if it hadn't been for this new armor mode. He still felt concussive forces and even that last spell was strong enough that with his barriers and the armor, he actually was slightly hurt by it.

Floating in mid-air, Fate grabbed her sore belly and nodded. That punch really hurt. If she was in her Sonic Form, she probably would have been beaten right then and there.

"You're fast, girl." Zest charged her, slashing through where she had been a moment ago before she disappeared. Zest couldn't even see her, but he was starting to figure out her patterns when she fought. He threw up his left hand and created a barrier that blocked Fate's fireball. "Interesting, you have a neat style."

On the ground, Fate materialized and started panting softly. She looked at Bardiche and grimaced, the blade was nothing more than a 2 cm stump off the hilt now. "Sorry, Bardiche."

"No problem."

Fate looked up and snapped her fingers. "Aqua Create." When Zest looked around in confusion, she smiled. "Dunno if this will work, but.. Dolph Zork!" Her eyes widened as several water torpedoes rushed at Zest. "Alright, now... Photon Raging Bolt!"

As the yellow bolts rushed with the water torpedoes towards him, she clapped her hands together. "Plasma... SMASHER!" A large yellow beam collided with Zest's unmoving form, exploding and Fate fell to a knee, panting. "I... I hope he's okay." She chuckled nervously and looked up and stared as the smoke cleared to reveal Zest, unharmed, though his armor was dirty and he was smoking.

"Very impressive." He nodded, both to the girl and to his armor. This was what he wanted to test after all. Still...

Fate's eyes widened as he appeared right in front of her and knocked her onto her back, pointing the tip of his spear at her. "You did good, you need some work with your technique, but you did good."

Fate smiled softly before her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she flopped down, unconscious, a moment later, her armor dissolved, leaving her in her civilian clothes.

Zest stared for a second before pulling up a vid screen and calling the infirmary. He didn't know what happened to her.

He suspected that Mary might have known for some reason.

somethings tells me that the blitz's blast armor have something to do with this or Dolphin decided to visit Fate in her dreams(assuming the Mazuko can actually do that...) or she just experience what Nanoha's feeling during their final duel at season 1 of Blood that flows and succumbs to it....

"Yuuno's been sleeping with my mom for a month and they just started dating." Fate said after several attempts to start.

Nanoha blinked, several times. "Well, good for them." She didn't understand why Chrono and Fate were upset about this. "I mean, Lindy-san's been alone for, what? Fourteen, fifteen years now? And Yuuno-kun's our friend, I'm glad for them."

Nanoha nearly fell out of her chair as Fate seemed to freak out and nearly screamed in frustration. "What?"

"Nanoha! What if mom marries him?! Yuuno's my age! I don't want to call him dad!"

"You could always have Karel, Liera and Vivio call him grandpa if you want to get back at him." Hearing Chrono yell something about using a bookshelf to smash Yuuno for doing that, her eye twitched, several times. "Alright, ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!"

Fate went stiff, as did Chrono, who was just behind his sister at that moment.

"Seriously! Can't you two be HAPPY for your mother?! If Yuuno-kun makes her happy, you should support them."

"But..." Fate went silent when Nanoha held up a hand.

"I know that Lindy-san's old enough to be Yuuno-kun's mother, but so what? Lindy-san's very pretty and I'm more shocked that it took her this long to find someone that makes her happy, so, knock it off and calm down, this isn't like you, Fate-chan, and you, Chrono-kun, stop threatening your best male friend, he was your best man at your wedding, wasn't he?"

The two looked rather shame-faced, though Amy and Arf were heard snickering in the back-ground. "Sorry, Nanoha, I... This was so shocking that I lost my mind." Fate muttered, her face red.

"Good thing you called me and not Signum." Nanoha smirked, knowing that Signum would never let Fate forget this. "So, just calm down, I'm sure that Yuuno-kun's a perfect gentleman." On the other hand, Nanoha wasn't so sure about Lindy. "If he breaks your mother's heart, well, go ahead and do what I do." When the two blinked at her, she rolled her eyes. "Zenryokku, Zenkai!"

"AHHH!" Nanoha blinked and turned around, sweating as she saw Vivio looking left and right out of fear. "Um, sorry, Vivio, I was trying to help Fate-chan and Chrono-kun out."

"Mama, why do you want to blow them up?"

Nanoha groaned, sometimes she wondered if maybe she overdid the whole "befriending" thing.

This is a real sticking point for me, cuz I've been socialized and experience tells me that other people are always more important, that I should only do things for others rather than myself. Though I've never really followed that exactly. If I did, then I'd only write NanoFate because that's what 'everyone' wants to see. So I'm not a total doormat. But it's still a multi faceted thing. I write because I want to entertain people but I also do it because I like it and I like getting praise.

Any forcing I've done is only at the start of a session. Often I will want to write. I've been playing out scenes in my head all day and I tell myself "Okay, when I get home I'll write this all out" but when I actually sit infront of my computer lethargy takes over and it's like my body has no energy for the task. My mind wanders and I go "Okay, after I do these things I'll get to writing!" But then those things in question extend to hours and in the end I get nothing going. The off chance I do get going, I'll typically get it all out in one go.

"You sliced her up and almost killed her!" Fate retorting, thrusting her sword forward in a move that Cypha barely dodged, then twisted and spun the blade around, aiming to remove the Huck's head.

Cypha managed to block it with her own sword, the blades pushing against each other inches from her neck. "Good to see that she survived. I wasn't trying to kill her, after all. I didn't have that particular need at that moment."

Fate leapt back and stared at the woman dubiously. "Not trying to kill her? You thrust your sword through her body!"

Cypha's grin grew wider, if it was even possible. "Ah, but did you happen to notice where I stabbed her?"

Fate raised an eyebrow quizzically.

I don't know you that much but probably part of why your fics seems to be so easy to read and understand is because you like what you're writing.

This is fanfiction, not an editorial company with bosses judging your work so i hope you don't take things too seriously(i know, it's sounds nearly hipocritical hearing that from me xDU), if you like the praise i think that is good too, giving the fanbase some candy to make them happy from time to time but don't let you being consumed by them. Like i frequently say on my reviews as "Li Daisuke" on ff.net: keep the good work.

Basically the main avenue I want to chronicle is the anti-Hayate (and company) sentiments that some members of TSAB hold and the products of such feelings. The character Amemiya holds a grudge himself and while I don't want him to be the "main character" per se (I want to showcase the canon characters), his internal conflicts will be important.

Southern Terrace City (Terraza del Sur): Not as dense as Northern Terrace, and consists of more residential areas than business/industrial areas

Garden City Zone: A federally protected ecological reserve just west of Southern Terrace City and elevated slightly above sea level. Home to dazzling landscapes consisting of orchards, vineyards, parks and agricultural land

New Horizon City (Nuevo Horizonte): Artificial landmass located several kilometers offshore and home to Azure Gardens Aero-Spaceport as well as the multi-modal port authority

Overview
Terrace Horizon (official name: Terraza Horizonte) is the sister city of Cranagan and has a large metropolitan area of its own. In the past Cranagan has attempted to annex Terrace Horizon time and again and each effort was met by fierce opposition. Now each city enjoys its own bustling urban centres and surburban areas and because of their influence on the rest of Midchilda the resulting Cranagan-Terrace Horizon area has been unofficially dubbed the "Twin Rings" of Midchilda.

Both Cranagan and Terrace Horizon are situated on the southern coast of the main continent and overlook the September Ocean with Cranagan to the East and Terrace Horizon to the West and the Moonflood Inlet dividing the two. Aurensce Isle exists just a kilometre offshore.

The original “Terraza Horizonte” has now been divided into two discrete zones with Southern Terrace City meeting the shoreline and Northern Terrace City directly north of it at a significantly higher elevation. Garden City Zone is just above sea level to the west of Southern Terrace City and is considered one of the Wonders of Midchilda. Garden City Zone is registered as a Special Ecological Reserve Zone (SERZ) and is literally a city of gardens, orchards, and agricultural land and hosts some endangered flora and fauna.

New Horizon City is a the product of an offshore terraforming project three miles into the September Ocean and is the site of the Azure Gardens Aero-Spaceport and the Port Authority of Terrace Horizon known as Port Horizonte.

Tell me what you think, I'm still considering the general framework of The Bureau, but I will likely start off with an offworld investigation headed by Fate and/or Teana with Amemiya.

Okay, do you have a clear idea where you're going with this? I've seen all too many fics that start off promising but die halfway because the author has no idea where to go.

First things first: How is Amemiya's attitude going to colour his interactions with the others? Does his disdain for Hayate and the Wolkies tar everyone else with the same brush?

I'm still considering Amemiya's general attitude towards the main cast. Initially his beef was supposed to be concentrated on Hayate and the Wolkenritter, but I've thought of changing it so his attitude is "everyone associated with the Book of Darkness is tainted."
What I'm clear on is that Amemiya would jump at the chance to discredit/harm Hayate whether via an internal investigation or punishing her circle of criminals (Wolkenritter). He may even be driven to remove her from this world (not like he could succeed).

Right now I don't have an overall plan and that has plagued most of my earlier works. I plan perhaps 5 rather short chapters and then write myself into a corner or lose my vision.

For now I'm (very slowly) working on the 3 OCs that will appear and developing Terrace Horizon. Then I'll map out the plot points with more detail. Any suggestions/help would be welcome.

I also need to consider whether or not I want to observe the happenings in the post-StrikerS canon, such as Force and ViVid, or break away from that. I think incorporating aspects of the "Battle of the Aces" PSP game would work, mainly the Material-D/L/S, this would give TSAB brass an avenue to persecute Hayate and friends.

Well, you might want to develop on how his hatred of Hayate and the knights developed into a general hatred of everyone involved. Most people don't wake up one day and abruptly declare a new hatred for things. It poses some interesting questions, like how the Bureau in general and characters in particular look on attempted fratricide. There aren't enough writers, nevermind good ones, who dare to take on the perspective of contrarian characters, ones who don't like the way the "canoners" operate. The only one I can really think of is Smiling Ivan's Black Boots.

You should have a clear goal. "Begin with the end in mind" as the Effective Habit has it. I'm not much good with suggesting what that goal should be, though. I have my own difficulties in setting out goals, which is why I have those effectively dead fics lying around and have been doing mostly snippets and drabs.

Her back and chest suddenly felt pain, as if being stabbed by metal. After it dissipated she gazed below, but saw nothing.

The sensation…is familiar. She then remembered the latest event in her life, her encounter with the vile Huckebein witch. But no…back then they were slashes, followed by a thrust from the front. This? It’s as if she was stabbed from the back.

“What is the meaning of this!” The answer came in the form of a huge moving image. It was somewhat blurry, but the shape and color was still recognizable, and Signum watched in horror as she saw her master impaled by a sword, blood gushing out from both sides of her wounds.

“Will this be the end?” The voice now came from a single spot, and when she turned her head to the source the images disappeared while a white-haired figure stood in her field of vision.

“Rein…no, of course not! I will not stand by and fail her!”

“Then rise, knight. Our master waits.”

Now conscious, the pink-haired knight opened her eyes and saw several doctors standing around her.

One of them attempted conversation while the others stayed alert. “Are you fine, ma’am? Please take it easy, we’ve almost lost you.”

Signum remained silent, before words came out of her mouth. “I am ready to serve…again.”
