I liked Toaru majutsu no index and was looking forward to railgun. I watched the first episode and was disappointed. It's girly and has lesbianism in it.

People who watched Index plz dont watch Railgun cos railgun is just crap.

Yes, Railgun's different from Index, but still very much enjoyable. I don't like Yuri either, but in this series it's just for the lulz, Biribiri's clearly straight.

And the fact that Mikoto is Railgun's main character makes it an instant win anyway.

People who watched Index please do watch Railgun because railgun is just another form of awesome.

Fixed.

In all seriousness, if you're looking for the pinnacle of manliness and another wave of Touma-gar preaching, then yes, Railgun is not for you. Railgun is about four girls who interact with a bunch of other girls and fight another bunch of girls.

Ya there is more lulzy craziness than what was in Index but its not overwhelming and all the yuri stuff is short and comical all in all the only real difference is railgun has less drama I was on the egde of my seat alot with Index not so much with railgun but was still entertained.

Railgun is tons of fanservice ( anime like wise). If you read the manga of railgun you will find it enjoying but still their are some fanservice but that can't be leave out of the story but its better if you don't like what's happening in the anime....

true true I hate watching it too. to painful. I'm just waiting for the battle and random rare cameo of touma.

So the war between Index and Railgun begins as what I've seen in 4chan.

Honestly though, I like both of them... while Index is more on different characters which is somehow worth knowing (at least those that somehow become part of Touma's unwanted harem) and also the GARTouman!, I like Railgun for its focus on Mikoto and co. plus the people around them... also the scientific side.

On a random note, I find this slightly... amusing yet disturbing... clone Uiharus... o___o

It can't be helped, Railgun doesn't have a huge story unlike Index. It's only up to it's 2nd arc and that's not even complete yet. Sure they could have end it in 1 cour, but they're taking a gamble the to introduction other elements from the Science side of the story so it wouldn't feel sudden when those elements appear in Index season... Three

It could become huge. It just isn't right now. I mean, Index's first few arcs weren't exactly huge either. It got huge over time.

What'd be really interesting is if the author of Index began to collaborate writing Railgun. Index would then focus on magic and Railgun on the science side, and then they would both eventually merge into "To Aru ____" and be epic.

Not likely.

Huh I just realized something about those "Child Errors" of Episode 18, I forgot which chapter it was but Mikoto interacts with them... again and that gives way to the Sisters arc.

Just my speculation, since I'm still hoping there would be a Sisters arc somewhere...
