Well, with the latest chapter, Guren popularity is understandable but Yuu is really sad

You mean Shinya is more popular than Yuu? Now that's pretty sad, man poor Yuu doesn't get any love from the fans. I mean seriously, just because he can't blow vampires away by sneezing at them doesn't mean he's worthless. Guess people really don't like Failure Heroes, which Yuu seems to be.

Isn't the combat prowess what makes him unpopular but his attitude and bland character or else Shinoa wouldn't be above him.


Also, Mahiru was pure Hiiragi, as such she is totally nuts, in Guren's spin off shows that much.

I thought he said Shinya, the other Hiragi who's on the front line. also, yeah, Yuu is too spineless, bland and cardboard-y for to be in the upper strata of the polls. Hell, I prefer Mahiru as a character, even though we know next to nothing about her.

You mean he's too cliche, that I can agree with. First he's all "destroy all vampires," then he turns around thanks to "nakama power." Yeah, we haven't seen that one before, not in a million years.

As for Mahiru (and the Hiragis in general), is it any wonder Shinoa did not want to become like them, all they seem to care about is power. I certainly won't miss them once they're pulled from power, and it'll be long overdue in my book.

I am guessing when Shiona came to mean him after Yu Seraph of the End moment, I am also guessing Hiragi was in contarl at that moment he was talking to Yu about him being his God. Which just happen in season 2 first episode.

How is Mika so popular?

Sure, he's the cynical anti-hero type, but his main goal is essentially to take Yuu away and hide from the world, never associate with anyone else, human or vampire. I'd understand more if he had a more viable plan, than just "leave the world behind, me and Yuu-chan have nothing to do with it", but so far, he's had a one-track mind that's not much different from Yuu's.

Man, the story really loves making humanity look bad, even though it's only a handful of people causing all the trouble. Though the story's also good at making unexpected plot twists, so instead of Yuu versus Krul it's gonna be Yuu versus Kureto, the same man who tortured his friends for no reason. I do hope he succeeds where Guren failed, and bring the madman down once and for all, for mankind ill needs a savior such as him. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter.
